When I was a kid I had a Pokemon card book that had deck recipes and one of them was basically a wave maker deck. I didn't have the cards to make the deck IRL but I was able to build it in the GBC game and holy shit, I never lost another a battle to the AI for the rest of my childhood. My friends would watch in disbelief as I was able to sweep all the grandmasters without losing a single pokemon. That deck was my best kept secret.
This is my favorite deck! I used pokedoll and mysterious fossil in this deck, which allowed me to run aerodactyl to counter chansey, hitmonchan, and stop squirtle from evolving.
Huh. That is actually a very neat tech. I have been playing pokemon tcg for the GBA extensively and I have been researching a lot of decks from base to fossil. There is so much you can do with 3 sets alone.
Man this brings me back. I actually didn't have a Wigglytuff deck in 1999/2000. I had one in 2004 when I got back into Pokemon. The League I went to didn't have any restrictions on what sets were allowed so I had a Psychic deck that was a hybrid of new and old cards (basically what I had and what I could trade for): Espeon, promo Mewtwo, Kanga, and Wiggly. Plus all the broken Trainers from the early days - Oak, Computer Search, Plus Power, Item Finder, Gust of Wind, etc.
In TCG2 for GameBoy, I built my "Wigglyf***" deck with Dark Dragonair, which lets you search your deck for an evolution; and Dark Dragonite, which lets you put 2 Basic Pokémon from your deck onto your bench. I got the Gengar coin in the Challenge Machine with this deck, and have fond memories of that game and Wigglytuff.
I had no idea about this build when I built mine. I had hauntings in place of the lickitung and scythers and hitmonchans in place of the trainer cards. Subbed 2 bills for 2 challenges. My thought was to have a lot of Pokémon in the deck and attack with fewer trainers. This build is awesome though, I wonder which deck would win
My rundown: 4x Jig 4x Wig 4x Scyther 4x Clefairy Doll 4x Mysterious Fossil 4x Professor Oak 4x Bill 4x Pluspower 4x Pokémon Trader 4x Item Finder 4x Computer Search 4x Double Colorless Energy 12x Grass Energy Very consistent, very fast paced. The strat is simple and doesn’t account for energy removals, but it’s fast enough to overpower anyways.
Clefairy Doll is a lot more expensive right now than Mysterious Fossil but they seem to do exactly the same thing..so I have this exact same deck list anyway! 😂

How does it fair against rain dance?

My gf was 2 time state champion when the tcg first started and she was the only person using this deck back then.
Should run all psychics with fossil gastly for energy recurrence

Great deck profile! Techs discussed as well. I prefer playing Base through Fossil. The cards got a little weird with the Rocket set in my opinion.
Bro I’m always wiggly you know that!
