I’ve done that on an old Bellboy 16’. I added foam to underside but leaving room for tabs that sometimes are needed with a setback Outboard. I worked at a boat factory that did welded hulls and getting height right is key . Too low and you’ll be slow , too high and you cavitate or overheat with intermittent water flow . Porpoising can happen , plan on a whale tail to help get on plane and keep steady . If Trim tabs on menu then you are set . Place your batteries and switch / master fuse then put wash down on a plate with studs . Fuel water sep plumbed with primer bulb up down not horizontal . False bottoms on storage so you can expose to rig and service can save grief later . Nice work.
