Learning how expensive these ads actually are makes me even more amazed that I see small youtubers paying for them. I've seen multiple times where a youtube ad I got was literally just some small youtuber paying to have one of their videos played as like a 5-10 second ad that you could skip. It was always so random, and now I cant believe how much they payed just to have their video barely gain any views...they definitely lost money on that investment. I guess now it makes sense that I dont really see those any more
