Chummy Nummy hey yeah I know exactly what that's like... it's hard to be positive when the people closest to you are going through problems and ur involved in it... so far what I've done is that, it may sound weird, but I have one friend that I rant to and I have another friend who I see as a role model. I try to remind myself of who I want to be I the future and I work!!! Its not just hard right? In the end you feel empty and almost useless because you can't do anything about the situation. But school is a different environment, and home is a different environment so try to separate your feelings from ur schoolwork and ur issues... we all go thru diff types of issues and some u won't ever really get over because they have impacted u so much, but try ur hardest to stay on track and believe in urself ❤❤❤

you pouring a bunch of honey in your tea and then pouring more reminds me of myself! haha back when i first started drinking tea i would borderline pour more honey than there was water in my mug lmao! but then i found the most magical and delicious honey ever: y.s. eco bee farms raw honey! omfg i swear (if u haven't already tried it) it'll blow your mind! your fave teas will come to life I SWEAR TO FUCK. and it's only like $6 on vitacost. i swear i'm not a vitacost robot trying to sell you shit. i'm just a smol honey/tea nerd trying to bless ppls lives. 😭☕️🍯💓

I love love love chatty videos like these, where people talk about things others don't quite brush upon in real life/everyday conversations. At least for me, that is what my experience is. And also, paired with the concept of doing art at the same time is genius, therapeutic even.
I used to hate myself for doing nothing but being sad all the time. Your videos are inspirational, I decided that i will do anything to make my life better than it is now. I started learning English (as it is my second language and i am really bad at this), i started studying better in school and it's all because of you. Thank you so much 🖤

i went through middle school and highschool with no friends (excluding the odd one or two classmates per semester or 'temporary friends')
never had anyone come to my house after school or on the weekends
never truly laughed while in highschool -
when watching your vlogs especially i feel involved in a life i wish i had
talent, passion, friends and goals for the future
makes me happy to see someone else prosper -
no one is perfect, we all have our faults and moments
it's great to share the good times but also very therapeutic not only for the creator but the viewer to express the problems in ones life and watch people relate to any struggle

well when i watch your videos i get inspired and i also get motivated to be as positive as you are and you're just an amazing person

btw I'd love to see a video from you where you don't edit that much and keep the content as raw as possible, if you're comfortable with it. Maybe that would help people who look up to you and feel like crap when they see the "perfect life". You could show that it isn't the truth on youtube and there are sections which get cut out. I deleted most of my social media because it made me set unreasonable expecations for my life that was not possible to attain. I really love this video because it made me realize that I am not the only one who feels this way.

I can relate, I was really jealous growing up especially to Disney stars who were my age like 10 and already successful. I felt such immense pressure for no reason and I still do to this day get jealous of celebrities but at least I can channel it better than just crying and self-loathing. This was a really great video❤

i think that social media should be sth between. perfectionism is cool until its an inspiration, if it pushes people to become better and better. but at the same time it shouldnt be fake, i mean i think its important to show people that perfectionism is temporary, just like you did. you spoke the truth, but your video still was uplifting. and thank you for that ♡

I like following positive accounts who post inspirational quetos, but I don't like people who only show the amazing side of their life. Sometimes flawed is more interesting than perfecting. I love your videos btw! Just discovered you recently and I'm already hooked.

But it's very unhealthy to deny myself to compare with those photos. I love ppl who voice their opinions with confidents on social media. first off i really enjoy art-tea - personal videos are great to listen to after a long day
perfectionism in social media / youtube videos to me is unneeded
i love to watch reality and sort of live in somebody elses shoes for 5-10 minutes every other day
realism is great, but perfectionism works aswell - both are fun but too much of either is a bore :^ )
(in english, basically i mean that perfectionism is a stronghold content creators shouldn't rely on too much - people love to see the rough edges of life and to relate to them - though, on the otherhand an uplifting video can easily make someones day)
tldr: art-tea is amazing, no one is perfect and it's always a great idea to express your emotions

I fully understand how some people on various social media platforms want to share nothing but positivity. That's great but I think that they should feel comfortable to show at least just a little bit of the tough times to people on here because there's a lot of great people on the internet who'd help. Besides keeping it all bottled up or away from your audience can be hard. We're all born with flaws and that's what makes us beautiful. Of course I compare my self to others and can be rude to others sometimes but that's just because I'm human and I need to learn from my mistakes. I hope that as time passes by we teach children not to make the same mistakes and show them how being flawed isn't something to be ashamed of. Lol have a great day

what i think of pErFeCtIoNiSm (on social media): 1) people, or at least I, would rather show the positive things rather than the negative ones (e.g. I don't really want to tell others how bad my day was or I cried and yelled at my mum) so the highlights all add together to become 'perfect' 2) understand that it's the same when you look at someone else's 'perfect' Instagram, you don't really know unless you KNOW them 3) nothing is really perfect except freshly baked chocolate chip cookies dipped in coffee gAHH or just food, food in general really :3

i hate it when adults complain about social media but when conan does i’m all ears lmao. i mean if you are on social media you know what you’re talking about, adults just seem like they’re bashing teenagers and their interests
I think there's gotta be a balance between mostly good things, but also throwing in some of the maybe not so good and athletically pleasing things to show that you are human and not perfect so that viewers can relate to the things that you go through. And maybe to see how you deal with the bad, it'll help others see that it can be done and someone can have not so good days but still be in the light. Just a thought ☺

i'd like to think of perfectionism as an outlet to strive for better. everyone is their own definition of "perfect" and no one should change themselves to become someone else's definition of "perfect" (in other words, someone else). but on the other hand, perfection can hurt a lot of people because they see this false and unrealistic image. most of the time, i'm not satisfied by the products that come out my work ethic. for example, an art piece. especially in art, i always find the smallest flaws. but to others, its perfect. i mean, i'm flattered but to me, it just isn't. (also, before i conclude my point i'm going to talk about how non artists are like "you're fishing for compliments!!" when i say my art isn't good. like no, honey, i'm not. i'm genuinely not satisfied.) my point is, i can't undo traditional art like digital, so i just take the flaws and try to improve on my next piece.
I do love myself but i just want to change my lifestyle to be like yours a bit. By that i mean i want to be more positive and more hard working and more social. Nothing wrong with looking up to someone. Even if you edit out the negativity in your life I still can see that there's plenty of positivity in it and I want to at least have positivity like that in my life through all MY negativity. If that made any sense 😂

I would recommend that u record urself inking/lining/coloring ur art in this series separately from talking & put the audio of u talking over it. Like PeterDraws on his channel. That's what he does on most of his videos. If it doesn't work for u, thats fine. Just a suggestion.

one day i discovered that social media was the root of my insecurities and depression. i deleted all of it besides youtube for a while and it has made me so much happier. also trying to realize that these "famous" people don't live perfect lives after all and we just see what they want us to see. that's what gives us this skewed perception of what we are "supposed to look like" or what life should look like in order for us to be happy when that isn't true. beauty and life shouldn't be cookie cutter like it is on social media and that bugs me. i personally think you are not like that but a lot of people and their social media are

i think it depends on the social media. in my opinion instagram shows an idealised vision of people while twitter is more realistic
