🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍👍👍 Dear friend! An easy way to remove cracks on the slice. Heat the agate in the oven so that the hand suffers (do not get burned). Rub the cracks with wax or paraffin. You will see the result.
There loss!! Cause it was the best Dorito commercial I have ever seen. I truly laughed. And that is one heck of a beautiful rock. I want to use one of those machines on my Lake Superior agates and Petoskey stones. 💕 I also have so many beauties that I need to be cut.
Well Tyler I guess you will have to find a stone that is orange 🍊 in color similar to the Doritos and send it directly to the President of Doritos division of Frito lay Maybe like a pen 🖊 holder you could get a plastic mold shine up a lot of orange 🍊 rocks and put them in the mold I think that would be really cool 😎 anyway just Throwing out Ideas 💡 I hope this get your creative juice going. And speaking of going I'm out of here for the night 🌙 thanks Ray in Idaho happy Rocking
I would totally love to buy a Lake Superior Agate if that was possible, for reals.. I cheated and bought a "Banded Agate" online. It's nice, but I thought it was going to look like one of yours haha but yours are lake superior so yeah. No worries she's real, I made sure of it. Just, I didn't do the work to it -_-. I would carry this Agate wherever I go lol. I love Rock hounding. 👑❤️🌍 Agates are different my favorite right now and some really nice Chalcedony's. Like they have to be smooth or very nice colors before I take them home.
Golly gee Dad, that's neat! Seriously though Tyler, they turned out beautiful. It's amazing, you'd think you would have twins when you cut an agate in half but they each take on a personality of their own.
He is going to love that agate. If there weren't any fractured it would look fake with that super, duper shine . Thanks for the sharing. I'm glad you showed having to go back a grit to take out some of the more persistent scratches. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
Absolutely beautiful. Good job on the clean up polish. Turned it beautiful. And the chip bag holder I thought was going to be a swivel mount for camera. And that was a great idea
AD good video! Chewy has his eye on the chip bag holder might have to slap him down. Finally we have some decent weather I can go spurlunkin this weekend. I think it is awesome you get just as excited about other peoples rocks and not just your own finds.
@@AgateDad I love your videos and find them as educational and interesting as what I find on the forum site. Besides, I think most of those experts are "seasoned" collectors, so maybe the other guy should be Agate Granddad!
The way you take to polish the agates to come alive is super interesting! This video shows that very well!! Beautiful job!! The Doritos bag holder is a scream!!😂😂💖. That's a great thought!!😂😂. I hope they do offer to support you too!! 💖💖
Great job & beautiful agate. Sometimes after cutting a stone in 1/2 I like to use my flat lap to even it all out and then use the 80 or 220 to round the edges. It saves my 80 grit wheel when I’ve got a lot of flattening to do. Looking forward to more videos.
I don’t know I stumbled onto your channel, but it’s great. I’ve watched some of your previous videos and I’m guessing you’ve been on the Knife?? I’ll have to show you a baseball size river polished agate I found there a few years ago. Love rock hunting!!!
You are a true Dad lol 😆 chip bag holder epic and flaming hot with a respirator on your a savage. Love the videos man. Side note if you roll up the corners of the bag it will create a lip for the gooseneck to hold onto
Beautiful agate! The flaming hot Doritos? Maybe not with a respirator! That was hilarious. Thanks for yor video, hope you didn't get too snowed in this week.
Dude this was great! Hahaha love the chip clip! Doritos needs to pick this man up! So beautiful after that last polish! 🤩 fractures or not those are beautiful. Congrats to Michael for these beauties!
Those turned out really well even with the fractures, kinda gives it more character. I love your cabbing machine. I have a Delta bench grinder and 3 different grit cheappppp diamond wheels from Amazon. The 600 one litteraly came loose from its plastic base and rattles around while spinning it's funny if it didn't cost me 35$, but that's what I get for buying something so cheap. The other 2 aren't as bad. I will get a return on it perhaps if I try to but I don't know if I want to bother 😂 I will be saving for a better rig, something like yours with everything on it. (I used a upside down funnel plugged with a sponge to provide a steady flow of water on the wheels)
Nice job, although I tuned in to see an agate video and spent most of it watching bobble head Chewbacca, wondering where Yoda was. That banding is insane, pity about the fracturing, but it’s still a lovely stone
I absolutely enjoy all your videos. And your choice of music is also pretty darn good. I have to drive a ways and pay to use the lap studio, wish I could get a Kngsley like yours. Telluride Blues Festival=Kingsley. Decisions decisions.
Hello Taylor , I enjoy watching your content you show great enthusiasm for your work , I have always had a fascination for stones and rocks and I am thinking a lot about taking it up as a hobby to start with to see how I fair out. However I wonder can you give me some idea of how I could eventually turn the hobby into a way of making an income . How much of a turnover is feasible is it better to look at it as a wage booster to other employment. Also have you worked with those rocks that glow in the dark. Thanks Ray

This video is not sponsored by Doritos.. I would be open to that though! I love how spicy those chips are and how they make my eye lids sweat.

Doritos should sponsor you. Rock hounding and Doritos are hand in hand. Spicy orange!

Love the chip bag holder, now you need a mini fridge for cold drinks! Lol
Genius!
Great work ! The agate turned out spectacular .
Woohoo! Thanks so very much! If turned out great
🤘🤘
Beautiful agate and beautiful polish! Am I the only one that sees an eagle's head in the fracture? Very special!
Michael will be very happy with the polish. It’s beautiful!
🙏❤️
Nice job! They have so much depth to them now!
Golly gee Dad, that's neat! Seriously though Tyler, they turned out beautiful. It's amazing, you'd think you would have twins when you cut an agate in half but they each take on a personality of their own.
Awesome of you to do that for Michael. These turned out beautiful, nicely done Taylor!
Snack hard, play hard, right on!

The bag holder is a nice touch - ready for many more hours of grinding/polishing now.
So beautiful even with the fractures. Lol with the snack idea. ✌&❤
If only we could find agates without fractures lol. They still turned out really nice!
Seriously! Thanks 🙏
Beautiful rock, great work ! Sorry about your potato chip holder ! 😁
😂😢
Beautiful agate. The fractures make it unique!
Super job! I love being able to see where the silica rich water entered a cavity in the host rock. Awesome!
Really nice specimen and polish.
Well done Taylor. Beautiful agates with endless bands. Thanks for sharing this video.
Thanks!
I'd love to see other agate polished, they are astounding
I think WeatherTech makes one of those bag holders for my truck.
Beautiful agate! Even with the fractures it's still nice. That cabbing machine does a nice job.
You remind me of Wild Kyle and his Cheezits! Serious snacking for the serious collector! Beautiful polish on that agate! Thanks for sharing!
That’s a good one.I love your Kingsley North machine it’s a great one!
Those turned out nice!
Absolutely loved how those halves took that polish and how many bands there were!
Absolutely beautiful. Good job on the clean up polish. Turned it beautiful. And the chip bag holder I thought was going to be a swivel mount for camera. And that was a great idea

Are you on Fossil Forum with the same handle? If so, I want to thank you for all of your help. Your insight and delivery is quite appreciated!
I am not..

Very beautiful ❣️
You might want to try close pins. 😆
More economical and versatile!

Caramel Agate's are my favorite! Yum lol
I'm willing to bet that a Dremel drill press could hold a can of cheeze-whiz, just putting that out there.
Nice work!my faves are organic doritos. Keep rockin

Amazing video 🙃☕
😀👍❤️
Hey bud try folding bag over, or glue a wide rubber band to edge of chip clip for grip. Oh and the Agate is more smokin than your chips. JS
😂🤘🤘
Lolololol!
What is your take on Chewbacca not receiving a medal?…🤷🏻♂️
Is what it is
