It’s more of a DCS marketing tool than being actually useful. Repair tool is a good add. It’s also good that you can turn off the launcher and that’s what I’ve done.
01:30 ED should build in an Auto Swapper: a button on the launcher page that will swap a Steam user over to stand-alone on a one-time basis. Clicking on it and confirming runs an auto-swap program so people don't have to do it manually.
Mostly useless, the only useful part is the repair and install/uninstall of the modules which could have been a utility application instead of a launcher. The best thing is it can be disabled.
Yea, new update but now again VR does not work and I am sick and tired of spending my precious time looking for fixes and work arounds....ED is becoming a bit laxed because last time they also left out the VR option, had to wait for a fix ......
I actually really enjoy the new look. It was a nice surprise after the update. Very happy with it.
It looks nice, hopefully they bring a new look to the main game as well at some point

As far as I know the default launcher is the multithreading one now, but I would have to double check

I had to disable it. Had to refresh tobii eye tracker each time cause it's not working when i load dis from launcher

I had issues with the installer as well. Had multiple items to install (maps, helicopters, campaigns) but it would only show one at a a time.
Hopefully they improve that!
It crashes the Tobbii eye tracker. Had to bypass it to get my Tobii to work.

How do I access DCS MT now? Can't find it anywhere in my files and the base game Mercury Pod is still bugged..?

My buddy had to disable it. Due to it causing his tobii to work properly. It kept saying it was on a different window.

You can't start in Multithreaded mode with that launcher. That means no NVIDIA DLSS. That means it is useless to me.
I mean DLSS causes graphical issues for me so I guess it doesn’t bother me that much

Honestly I feel ED is rushing things they shouldn’t be rushing and releasing half baked goods. Broke VR and Afghanistan is a mess…
