We didn't have this much coverage for Katrina which wss a high Cat 5!! So much hype. We had a Cat 2 hit Louisiana two weeks ago! Lots of hype b4 the storm.
Thank's for giving us an update on this hurricane, we have a Disney dining in Orlando and I am relieved that it's not going to be to bad for us to cancel or what Disney is reccomending of what we should do with are dining reservation.
Thank you for thorough, local information. Do y'all still broadcast on the radio during the storm? I ask, because I don't have a smart phone, and once the power goes out, so does the Wi-Fi, so I cannot follow on digital tv antenna or online, but in the past, I would still follow via the weather radio that I have. If you do, what is the radio channel?
@@snoralaura My computer requires power, so that's a no-go anyway. However, that wasn't my question to them. I just want to know about broadcasting on the radio like they used to. All the other stuff was just to tell them why. Your answer gave me nothing and I wasn't asking you anyway.
@@snoralaura I was also "hit" by that same hurricane... and many other hurricanes before it, which I was able to follow their coverage on my battery operated weather and AM/FM radio in the past. Everyone has their own way of coping.
A flight was flying over the hurricane when it made landfall. I’m crying bc I live in Florida and friends grandma refused to evacuate and has not heard of her since last night
Oof, this woman is struggling... Also want to call out that the latest NOAA update stressed how large the storm is, and specifically calls out central FL & the I-4 corridor. Meanwhile this woman says at 4:15 that it's not going to be a threat at this time. Get your updates elsewhere, rather than from this woman who either repeats what she just said or stumbles over incorrect information.

@@cjhdancer1 Just trying to help! I’m sorry if I said something wrong. But I recently got hit by the hurricane so I’m just stating facts.

It will turn and take out Louisiana but it is too small for that to happen. If it was a cat 6 it would hit Louisiana!
What about flights?
