let's keep in mind that Wilbur said that he dreamed about this before he knew about techno's passing! it's so crazy to me that techno admitted to his death before he (will) knew. which makes me believe in the afterlife. techno went on about how he saw him dreaming about Minecraft and couldn't let him get away with that.
I've sometimes heard people say that those who have or will die show up in their dreams to tell them something, either a message or a warning, which will happen sooner or later after they wake up

The problem with the premonitions is that you never know the butterfly effect of your choice until you see it for yourself. The butterfly effect could be positive or negative based on what you do about it.

Wilbur actually had a small precognitive dream! The minecraft bit likely wasn't, but when he heard techno, it was information that was off limits to wilbur but he dreamed about it.

I'm believing Wilbur on this one, I had a dream a couple months back and it was the aftermath of technos death, if Wilbur was able to hear techno after his death and had viable evidence of techno knowing he was dreaming of playing Minecraft, I'm all in for believing him
it could’ve, ”realistically”, been caused by wilbur having worried about technos health for a while. wilbur did know about technos condition deteriorating, and he definitely had thought of and was afraid of his death, especially in the unconscious mind.
The fact that Wilbur didn't know that Techno had gone is the main reason I really think it was him. Also him calling out Wilbur for having a dream about Minecraft is such a Techno thing to do.
I had a similar dream when my mother passed away, basically she said that she wasn't suffering anymore and that she was happy, and that it's ok to say goodbye.
Happened when my dad passed away last year too. Told us and my relatives he is still with us and sent some small helps to tell us what we should do with the people who had unfinished business with him.
I had one when my grandmother passed away. We share a birthday, and on that night I dreamt we chatted and celebrated together. A few nights after she spoke to me again, reassuring me that it's okay. That I can cry. But she will be watching over me. I've only told my dad as for people I personally know, as my mum would most likely cry her eyes out.
I actually had something similar to this when my sister had passed away. I had came home from school (this was before I knew she had passed away) and I took a nap in my bean bag, I feel myself wake up with blurry vision and I see someone stand over me and I call out to them and reach for them. It felt so real. Like I actually saw them. At the time it was just me and my mom living together and she didn’t come home from work until late. Later that day I find out she had gotten into a car crash and died a few minutes before I had gotten home and went to sleep. To know that she came to see me before leaving for good makes. I can’t even find the words to explain how it felt. I just wanted to share my experience with this type of situation as well where losing a person that created such a strong impact on your life. (Update 3 months after this was commented) Thank you to everyone who replied, I’m doing fine. I am joining the military and getting ready to take a new path in life. I know she isn’t here with me physically anymore to give me the support I want right now but she is always pushing me to move forward in my heart and giving me what I need. Love and miss my sister always. I’m glad she chose to see me before she left. I hope I get to see her when I leave too. She made this a world worth living in and I refuse to waste it. Some days are hard of course but not as hard as her punches that’s for sure!! Hope you all have amazing lives from here and know that even if I’m not there, just a stranger online. I’m proud and happy to see how you grow and where you go from here. So long friends.
I know it won't help you cope with the pain of loss but cherish the memories you had with her and though she's gone, she's not really gone. She lives on in your thoughts and heart.
This shows that the week before someone died, they visited their loved ones one last time. Its sad tbh hearing this. The day before the news Techno passing, I had the feeling someone about to died and mostly those I know and met along the way. Techno may not be a family or friends to me but a person I know and truly admire for his content was always enjoyable. (Am not good at describing). It was truly shocking and sad news hearing he died from cancer. Rip Technoblade. 😔
bro no thats insane cause i had woken up early morning and the sky was so gloomy a couple hours passed and it poured like literally the hardest it had rained in a while and i thought to myself, like no joke, “the sky’s so sad someone really important mustve died” after that i got dressed to go to my practice and it started raining so they postponed it and me and my teammates were all sitting under a ramada waiting for the rain to pass when i got the news of technos passing. everything just hit me like a truck

Causally playing Minecraft with a friend when his dad posted it. It felt like a joke. A really sick one at that, and I wanted it to not be real. You know, if it makes you/ anyone else feel better (it makes me happy), there’s this bit of information I know about Technoblade fighting God. Basically people who are part of paganism and can talk to the gods are saying that he is up there trying to fight god. Although I personally only believe in one God, this makes be incredibly happy. I remember it being such a quiet, sunny day. The sky was literally perfect and the birds outside my window were chirping. The atmosphere helped calm me down tho cuz I was crying for a while. it is theoretically possible, as you don't have to be aware. You just have to have the mindset of it in your head, which is why nightmares with things that don't exist happen.

I think the fact techno visited Wilbur in some sort of after life just to make fun of Wilbur for dreaming Minecraft makes it so humorous. I think dreams is where you go when you die. Your dreams are your paradise. And dreams are just a collective consciousness and you can visit people. Hell is where the worse people go and this is what we call nightmares, bad people are stuck in an endless nightmare.
I had a moment like this, 3 years ago, about 2 weeks after my dog, a Chihuahua passed, I had a dream, I woke up and went upstairs to sit on the couch but I saw my dog, walking along the window sill looking at me, I cried and played with her for hours telling her how much I loved and missed her and hugged her, I woke up after she gave me a look and I know it sounds cringe but when she looked at me it felt like I would see her again one day, now 3 years later we adopted a puppy, a shi-poo and he acts almost exactly how she used to and I'm convinced she came back as my new dog.
I had a hamster and like a few months after it died I had a dream and was like “when was the last time I fed my hamster” and I looked in her cage and she was fine but when I woke up I remembered that she wasn’t here
My dog also passed 3 years ago and I had a very similar thing happened too me expect it was I was snuggling her and she snuggled into me and I started crying and she ended up snuggling into me. Then she died in my arms again in the dream and I woke up in the middle of the night and went too go and snuggle my other dog. Funny thing is that he described almost exactly what my grandfather did the night he died, he came to me in my dream to say goodbye and thats exactly what I think Alex did for Wilbur. I could be wrong, but it certainly feels that way as you never truly d!e, your physical connection to this world does. And I hope Alex is at peace knowing we'll be ok and that we'll continue his legacy until the end of time.

Nope. An afterlife doesn't exist. And Will didn't lie. That's just how Technoblade embedded himself into our memories. I actually believe Will more because he said he saw it in a "Minecraft dream" which makes sense cause we mostly saw Technoblade in MC videos only.
I've never really seen dreams as something to take seriously or spiritually but this...this is an exception. I had a very similar experience. About two years ago, my ex-boyfriend passed away after being comatose for months. I'm also a person that dream much, but then this one night, some days before he passed, a dreamed that we were in the back of a car about to say goodbye, a kissed e told him that I love him e he answered me that no matter how long we would meet again one day. It wasn't a sad dream, it was more comforting dream, and I will always remember this like that.

This could be something spiritual. But a theory I have is that Wilbur was worried that Techno had passed away. Dreams are usually things that are left in your subconscious that your brain refuses to bring to the spotlight, so your body forces it out during dreams. So in this dream the fear that Techno passed away could’ve came out by him simply stating that he passed away, and then going back to normal. I would like to think Techno visited his dreams though, both I’m completely open to being true I said I was open to both spiritual and scientific, this is just what my mind went to first. @Tobiah-koa That comes from Wilbur's own mental idea of Technoblade's personality, which due to being his friend would be very accurate. That, combined with his subconscious fear for Technoblade's life is what made that line appear in his dream. However in my eyes, that doesn't take away from the magic. The fact that Wilbur's subconscious was able to portray Technoblade so accurately, means that even though he's gone his imprint still lives on in the minds of his friends and fans. Technoblade really does never die, then.
I don’t usually believe in superstitions, except for the idea that maybe a friend or a loved can somehow visit you in your dreams before they pass away to warn you ahead of time. It’s really weird but it happened with me before my grandfather passed away due to cancer just last year. So there might be something to it.
I'd like to think that Techno was the one who *made* Wilbur dream about Minecraft for no other reason than to call him a loser for it. That feels like the most perfectly on-brand way for that dream interaction to be set up.
The fact that the dream occurred before Wilbur heard the news tells me that either the fact that Techno not having responded to those messages was really stressing him out, or there was actually something spiritual there. The former is realistically the most likely, however its always a really strange thing for stuff to line up this directly. Its nice to think that it might have actually been Techno though. And not entirely impossible, as science cannot currently prove things like that to be impossible so all we have are spiritual beliefs to go off of in relation to concepts regarding the afterlife.
i had a dream like that, it made me believe in afterlife, i had dream about a red haired woman with a ponytail that i never seen before smiling in a very white place, when i woke up i found out my great aunt had died and the woman i saw was her when she was very young, but i never had seen her like that. It was almost like she used me to say "i'm fine now" knowing the first picture i would see of her after i wake up would be the one where she was young, with hair painted of red and a ponytail, just her clothes were different. I wasn't close with her, actually i've only met her 2 times before, so i never could explain that dream to myself other then "she wanted me to tell my grandparents she is fine", so i did. Crazy, right? I was a kid at the time, so evryone looked at me like i was some angel passing the message haha
I was there for the stream and I was like “I’m gonna wait for someone to clip this then I’m going to save it” I really thought this dream was meaningful and comforting. It was cute and I teared up while laughing ❤️

I had a dream like this shortly after my grandfather died. I was nine and it was my first experience with death. My family had planned to visit him in the spring because we knew his cancer was terminal. Unfortunately he passed before we got the chance to visit. Not long after he passed I had the dream. I walked into a kitchen that I didn’t recognize and he was standing behind the island. His face lit up and he said something along the lines of “Hey kiddo! Why didn’t you say goodbye?” He was teasing me and the dream ended up bringing me a lot of comfort and closure. It wasn’t until years later when I thought back on it that I realized how important it was for me. I got to say goodbye to him but we didn’t have to be sad. Really a blessing.

The day before the video by Techno's father was posted, I actually searched for his channel to see if there were any signs of activity.. I haven't had time to keep up with youtube or any gaming stuff due to work but... He just popped up in my head somehow.. like "damn I miss techno, let me see if there's any community posts or off stream appearances of him someone compiled recently." I was going about my day of work as usual and saw the notification for the video the next day and read the title... I was lucky I was alone that time... You know it's strangely cool... even in his non-presence, Techno took my mind off of whatever pain I felt in my body and inspired me to work while I still can... I've done 6 days of 6-12 hour shifts so far.. and don't feel as bad as I thought I would... I'm not a healthy person at all, and am new to Food and Beverage service... it's school holidays season and we're booked up to 200 guests per day... so I'm just really in awe. I feel sad that I couldn't at least type "we missed you" in one of his streams or come back videos whilst he was still here.....
I'm really gonna miss techno. I didn't watch him THAT much but I cried when I found out the news. Seeing all the people he affected and seeing his personality shine through just really messes with me because he isn't with us anymore. It's heartwrenching.

this reminded me of that time something similar happened to me shortly after my grandpa passed away. i was only 7 so i feel like i never had the opportunity to properly process grief, but i vividly remember dreaming of him and that i could feel the touch of his hands, something that rarely occurs in my dreams, and that i started crying. i wish i could remember what he said to me
This happened to my family when my uncle passed away. After his death, they had dreams where he visited them and gave them final messages or words of reassurance before going and that really stuck with me. Whether this is a thing of the mind coping with death or it's something completely spiritual, it's still very heartwarming to have that final moment with your loved ones.

Happened to me too when my dad passed, he came to my dream of one last trip. Me and him in a car going some where near a mountain. I told him you are gone and what am I going to do without him, he put his hand on my shoulder, while still looking at the road and driving and just told me he isn't gone anywhere. He is still with us. All these dreams made me believe firmly in after life.

The problem with the premonitions is that you never know the butterfly effect of your choice until you see it for yourself. The butterfly effect could be positive or negative based on what you do about it.

I had a similar dream when my mother passed away, basically she said that she wasn't suffering anymore and that she was happy, and that it's ok to say goodbye.
Happened when my dad passed away last year too. Told us and my relatives he is still with us and sent some small helps to tell us what we should do with the people who had unfinished business with him.

I had one when my grandmother passed away. We share a birthday, and on that night I dreamt we chatted and celebrated together. A few nights after she spoke to me again, reassuring me that it's okay. That I can cry. But she will be watching over me. I've only told my dad as for people I personally know, as my mum would most likely cry her eyes out.

I actually had something similar to this when my sister had passed away.
I had came home from school (this was before I knew she had passed away) and I took a nap in my bean bag, I feel myself wake up with blurry vision and I see someone stand over me and I call out to them and reach for them. It felt so real. Like I actually saw them. At the time it was just me and my mom living together and she didn’t come home from work until late. Later that day I find out she had gotten into a car crash and died a few minutes before I had gotten home and went to sleep.
To know that she came to see me before leaving for good makes. I can’t even find the words to explain how it felt.
I just wanted to share my experience with this type of situation as well where losing a person that created such a strong impact on your life.

I know she isn’t here with me physically anymore to give me the support I want right now but she is always pushing me to move forward in my heart and giving me what I need. Love and miss my sister always. I’m glad she chose to see me before she left. I hope I get to see her when I leave too. She made this a world worth living in and I refuse to waste it. Some days are hard of course but not as hard as her punches that’s for sure!! Hope you all have amazing lives from here and know that even if I’m not there, just a stranger online. I’m proud and happy to see how you grow and where you go from here. So long friends.

This shows that the week before someone died, they visited their loved ones one last time. Its sad tbh hearing this. The day before the news Techno passing, I had the feeling someone about to died and mostly those I know and met along the way. Techno may not be a family or friends to me but a person I know and truly admire for his content was always enjoyable. (Am not good at describing). It was truly shocking and sad news hearing he died from cancer. Rip Technoblade. 😔

bro no thats insane cause i had woken up early morning and the sky was so gloomy a couple hours passed and it poured like literally the hardest it had rained in a while and i thought to myself, like no joke, “the sky’s so sad someone really important mustve died” after that i got dressed to go to my practice and it started raining so they postponed it and me and my teammates were all sitting under a ramada waiting for the rain to pass when i got the news of technos passing. everything just hit me like a truck

Causally playing Minecraft with a friend when his dad posted it. It felt like a joke. A really sick one at that, and I wanted it to not be real.
You know, if it makes you/ anyone else feel better (it makes me happy), there’s this bit of information I know about Technoblade fighting God. Basically people who are part of paganism and can talk to the gods are saying that he is up there trying to fight god. Although I personally only believe in one God, this makes be incredibly happy. I hope it helps you out a little as well.

I remember it being such a quiet, sunny day. The sky was literally perfect and the birds outside my window were chirping. The atmosphere helped calm me down tho cuz I was crying for a while. And the next day, I woke up to a cloudy, gloomy sky, and I realized that Techno's passing wasn't a nightmare, so the pain hit me again. Rest in peace Techno, we love u

I had a moment like this, 3 years ago, about 2 weeks after my dog, a Chihuahua passed, I had a dream, I woke up and went upstairs to sit on the couch but I saw my dog, walking along the window sill looking at me, I cried and played with her for hours telling her how much I loved and missed her and hugged her, I woke up after she gave me a look and I know it sounds cringe but when she looked at me it felt like I would see her again one day, now 3 years later we adopted a puppy, a shi-poo and he acts almost exactly how she used to and I'm convinced she came back as my new dog.

Funny thing is that he described almost exactly what my grandfather did the night he died, he came to me in my dream to say goodbye and thats exactly what I think Alex did for Wilbur. I could be wrong, but it certainly feels that way as you never truly d!e, your physical connection to this world does. And I hope Alex is at peace knowing we'll be ok and that we'll continue his legacy until the end of time.

I had a very similar experience.
About two years ago, my ex-boyfriend passed away after being comatose for months. I'm also a person that dream much, but then this one night, some days before he passed, a dreamed that we were in the back of a car about to say goodbye, a kissed e told him that I love him e he answered me that no matter how long we would meet again one day.
It wasn't a sad dream, it was more comforting dream, and I will always remember this like that.

This could be something spiritual. But a theory I have is that Wilbur was worried that Techno had passed away. Dreams are usually things that are left in your subconscious that your brain refuses to bring to the spotlight, so your body forces it out during dreams. So in this dream the fear that Techno passed away could’ve came out by him simply stating that he passed away, and then going back to normal. I would like to think Techno visited his dreams though, both I’m completely open to being true

@Tobiah-koa That comes from Wilbur's own mental idea of Technoblade's personality, which due to being his friend would be very accurate. That, combined with his subconscious fear for Technoblade's life is what made that line appear in his dream.
However in my eyes, that doesn't take away from the magic. The fact that Wilbur's subconscious was able to portray Technoblade so accurately, means that even though he's gone his imprint still lives on in the minds of his friends and fans. Technoblade really does never die, then.

I'd like to think that Techno was the one who *made* Wilbur dream about Minecraft for no other reason than to call him a loser for it. That feels like the most perfectly on-brand way for that dream interaction to be set up.
The fact that the dream occurred before Wilbur heard the news tells me that either the fact that Techno not having responded to those messages was really stressing him out, or there was actually something spiritual there. The former is realistically the most likely, however its always a really strange thing for stuff to line up this directly.
Its nice to think that it might have actually been Techno though. And not entirely impossible, as science cannot currently prove things like that to be impossible so all we have are spiritual beliefs to go off of in relation to concepts regarding the afterlife.
i had a dream like that, it made me believe in afterlife, i had dream about a red haired woman with a ponytail that i never seen before smiling in a very white place, when i woke up i found out my great aunt had died and the woman i saw was her when she was very young, but i never had seen her like that. It was almost like she used me to say "i'm fine now" knowing the first picture i would see of her after i wake up would be the one where she was young, with hair painted of red and a ponytail, just her clothes were different. I wasn't close with her, actually i've only met her 2 times before, so i never could explain that dream to myself other then "she wanted me to tell my grandparents she is fine", so i did. Crazy, right? I was a kid at the time, so evryone looked at me like i was some angel passing the message haha

I've spoke with quite a few people about dreams like this and it's actually very common. Before I knew my cat had passed he came to me in a dream the night of his passing and comforted me

I had a dream like this shortly after my grandfather died. I was nine and it was my first experience with death. My family had planned to visit him in the spring because we knew his cancer was terminal. Unfortunately he passed before we got the chance to visit. Not long after he passed I had the dream.
I walked into a kitchen that I didn’t recognize and he was standing behind the island. His face lit up and he said something along the lines of “Hey kiddo! Why didn’t you say goodbye?” He was teasing me and the dream ended up bringing me a lot of comfort and closure. It wasn’t until years later when I thought back on it that I realized how important it was for me. I got to say goodbye to him but we didn’t have to be sad. Really a blessing.

The day before the video by Techno's father was posted, I actually searched for his channel to see if there were any signs of activity.. I haven't had time to keep up with youtube or any gaming stuff due to work but... He just popped up in my head somehow.. like "damn I miss techno, let me see if there's any community posts or off stream appearances of him someone compiled recently."
I was going about my day of work as usual and saw the notification for the video the next day and read the title... I was lucky I was alone that time...
You know it's strangely cool... even in his non-presence, Techno took my mind off of whatever pain I felt in my body and inspired me to work while I still can... I've done 6 days of 6-12 hour shifts so far.. and don't feel as bad as I thought I would... I'm really gonna miss techno. I didn't watch him THAT much but I cried when I found out the news. Seeing all the people he affected and seeing his personality shine through just really messes with me because he isn't with us anymore. It's heartwrenching.

this reminded me of that time something similar happened to me shortly after my grandpa passed away. i was only 7 so i feel like i never had the opportunity to properly process grief, but i vividly remember dreaming of him and that i could feel the touch of his hands, something that rarely occurs in my dreams, and that i started crying. i wish i could remember what he said to me
This happened to my family when my uncle passed away. After his death, they had dreams where he visited them and gave them final messages or words of reassurance before going and that really stuck with me.
Whether this is a thing of the mind coping with death or it's something completely spiritual, it's still very heartwarming to have that final moment with your loved ones.
What if that was future ghostblade? Because it'd make sense of him calling Wilbur a loser in his own dream, because if not that it'd be confusing because you can't just immediately dream of Minecraft and have someone you knew previously just welcome themselves in and say such to one person

Man sad days... Last month on June 1st I woke up to my father telling me my eldest brother died... And then I wake up to a video excited about Technoblade uploading just for a message saying he died. I will never forget how broken I felt.

Had a similar experience. It was less exciting though; after my great-grandfather passed, I dreamt that I was sitting in the kitchen whilst he and his wife bustled about. It felt incredibly real, as if he'd come just to visit.
Happened to me too when my dad passed, he came to my dream of one last trip. Me and him in a car going some where near a mountain. I told him you are gone and what am I going to do without him, he put his hand on my shoulder, while still looking at the road and driving and just told me he isn't gone anywhere. He is still with us. All these dreams made me believe firmly in after life.

My grandpa passed recently and my mom, aunt, sister, and brother have all heard from him in voices, visions or dreams. It's very real.
I genuinely believe that dreams can be used by spirits to talk to the living. My sister had 3 consecutive dreams of a being of light slowly and peacefully taking our dog home.

The Day it happend, I woke up and thought something bad was going to happend that day, so I instantly thought something at the beach, because I was going to go to the beach that day, and after the beach nothing happend, but then, techno died.. I guess my mind was trying to warn me about that, but I thought it was trying to warn me about something else-
the beach was like someone or something asking you to calm down first before you knew about the bad & heartbreaking news and there it was 💀💀💀
