    I have done this work on my enve alloy hubs. Tip on the snap ring. There is a ridge on the axle on the non drive side of the rear hub. There is space between the bearing and that ridge that needs to be taken up by the snap ring. Get that snap ring over that ridge. If you don't the result is that the end cap will not seat far enough onto the axle and there will be play in the hub. I stretched out the snap ring when I removed it and it was no good after that. I had to replace it. If you need to a new snap ring, I used an external circlip snap ring, size ∅18.

    You only greased the bearings? I am here because when I took of finicky cassette, the freewheel came off with it much to my surprise. Im curious if i should grease it all up before reassembling

    It seems easy to remove end caps. I have Enve foundation hub and cannot remove them. Any ideas?

    I have the gen 2 carbon hub on a rim brake. It seems where the bearings sit, the carbon is striped and broken? Is it normal? Or does it mean my carbon shell is damaged? Is it because somebody hammered bearings into place or used the wrong torque / or over tightened the bearing tool?

    If I were to remove the axle on the front hub, thread it internally on both ends so that I could use bolts to secure it to my fork, would there be any reason that this would be inadvisable? I am attempting to use your carbon front hub for a track wheel set and you are not allowed to use a QR at the track. Thanks :)

    Why is it so hard to remove the endcaps on my set of 3.4 AR disc wheels? I can't get to the freehub body. Do I squeeze the end caps and pull?

      @@HowonLeeI put a piece of rubber around for traction/protection then used channel pliers to pull them off

      @@peterssc12 thank you! I actually went to my mechanic and that’s exactly what he did 😂 I wasn’t getting enough leverage with regular pliers and an inner tube

    Hello, it's Mavic XD ID360 freehub compatible with Enve AG25 gravel bikes? I can't find original Enve freehub on local dealers (Spain)

    I just purchased an xdr free hub body to replace Shimano on evnve set 3.4 with the new inner drive hub, but when I put it on and even hand tighten the end cap it is tight and doesn't want to spin well. can't find any info on what could be the issue unless the springs come out for the xdr hub body? anyone?

      Nope, all you'll need is to switch out the free hub.

    Hi, is the Freehub Body compatible with DT 40T Ratchets ?

    • @envecompositesvideo
      @envecompositesvideo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately it is not. Our hubs use the ID360 drive developed by Mavic and will only be compatible with parts for that system.

    A how-to video should always focus in closely on what is being done, nothing else.
