Tony has nothing else to prove. He was at the top for so long. Interim champ. Huge win streak. He’s older now, been through many wars. It’s okay to hang it up.

@@bryanpinto4051bro sometimes fighters need to be saved from themselves, tony is done, washed up and is just gonna get himself hurt permanent if he keeps going, in fact, he no doubt has already done permanent damage.
Bobby green put a serious beating on fiziev, bobby green isn't a good grapppler ironically because he got the submission tonight but bobby probably one of the best boxers in the division with some great movement and footwork. His head movement is high level. It's a shame that tony loses to these guys but I think tony wasn't a good enough striker or grappler to compete with the highest level strikers and higher level wrestlers. Tony always has a submission chance and punchers chance though, I do think tony's 12 fight win streak was just luck. And eventually luck runs out. I still think tony can win fights in ufc just not at the highest level against the best strikers or best grapplers. Tony need to fight guys more on his level in striking and grappling now one of those guys I think is Dan Hooker, I don't see dan as being the elite strikers in the division and I think Dan vs Tony makes a lot of sense stylistically it's a winnable fight for both guys. I would like to see Dan Vs Ferguson for tony's retirement fight

Tony Ferguson is the type of guy who refuses to use his Jiujitsu because he's confident that he doesn't need to.
Tony looks so slow now and he doesn't seem to want to use his BJJ anymore. He's done.

I mean if clay guida can still get wins at his age I see tony still being able to get some wins. Tony can't beat the high level guys anymore but he's still capable of competetive fights and winning

Thats simply not true, of course Tony will hit if you allowed urself to be complecent but thats not cuz he has still got it (he is a trained fighter so he will uses it if got chance) his reflexes, forward pressure (with real offence) can no longer be seen and thats not what prime Tony did, heck when has Tony left his opponent without cutting them now he never does that

They didn't give out a FOTN, so everyone on the main card that got a finish got 50K
tony was walking green down the whole fight even though he was taking alot of damage. a lesser opponent would have gasses out. if he could have landed more damaging shots, leg kicks, body shots, he may have wore bobby down. hes clearly not going on a title run though. unless he genuinely enjoys fighting he should retire.
Bobby Green needs to stop pretending he beat a top contender. He beat a washed-up Tony that got beat down past the point of no return by Justin, KO'd cold by Chandler, and dominated by both Charles and Beneil. How can you even be proud of this fight?

I think Bobby is being nice because he respects Tony and everything he’s done in the sport. Real recognize real but Tony is washed!!!! I still wonder if he has to take certain meds that basically took the edge/crazy out of him. He’s just not the same guy he was before he had his mental break.
