I have a Nissan Altima 2009. Never had air conditioning issues until now. My car was blowing warm air then cold air. Later today, I drove again and now it is blowing warm air and the AC isn't kicking on when I press the button. I did switch out the fuse ( not sure though that the fuse I switched out is new or old). It is still blowing somewhat cool to warm air. I did that pressure test and both blew out air or whatever it is.

Hi i have a 2007 Nissan Altima. The compressor was keep on cutting in and out and then it just stop coming on. I had checked and get it vacuumed and gas. Put it on it came on and as soon as he engine heated up the compressor cut off and never came back on. I bought a new compressor vacuum it and put the frion in it and started the vehicle the same thing happened. It came on and won't cut out and when it did cut out it never cam back on. I checked the Ambient sensor and that is working but the compressor is not coming on. Can you tell what you think is the problem with it?
If ac compressor come on then ur system is working how did u charge the system? Touch the low line with ac on it should be cold if not cold then u need to recharge the system with ac machine I hope u didn’t use cans to charge the system
So my compressor is kicking on and rolling fine, ac clutch clicking properly so not the relay, ac low is cold and has pressure but... still fkn hot. It will blow almost tolerable after about 15 min but only about 74 degrees no were near the 60 degrees... if i turn the ax off ad back on it goes back to hot and takes another 15 to get back to 75ish... doesn't matter if it's on circulate or outside in. Any ideas?
Hello good information. I have a Nissan Murano 07 and my AC is blowing hot. Jiffy lube had replace an alternator and I had to go back because AC wasn't blowing cool. He fixed a leak. It started blowing hot again. Took it back said it was keep blowing fuses. But the didn't fix it. So should I just see about replacing the fuse.
Hi, there can you help me? I have a 2016 Nissan Altima, A/C gets cool but not cold like it used to. The green light comes on like normal. The a/c flow itself is nice and strong it just isn't cold but rather cool. The pressure is great and goes to high nicely and it blows nicely, then goes to low when I change it to low. We bought A/C Pro, added it but it did not help. We changed the cabin filter and engine filter but that did not help either. The compressor seems to be running fine ( we watched the wheel spin, it came on and whatnot) and the belt rotates and seems to be fine. What else could be the issue? It's hot out there and I need my A/C
Eighties Britt well first thing first you have to add freon the correct way ... which is to recover vaccume and add the correct about Freon in the system ... what u did to add is not the correct way. Too much or too little Freon will cause not to cook properly ... try having it serviced.... also try this try Erving the engine to 2000k rpm for like 10 seconds with ac on and see if it cools properly some time the ac compressor dosent build enough pressure
@@NataliaFreeman2023 if the fuse keeps blowing it could be ur ac compressor clutch so one way to figure out is disconnect the compressor and then try if fuse dosent blow it’s bad ac compressor
I have a 2015 Altima. My interior dome lights don’t turn on. Dash lights and radio work fine. Headlights etc. but idk which fuse to replace. Luis Rojas I did not understand you said ac compressor and clutch works fine .... how can that be true if it’s not getting power anyways check ur cars r134 pressure u can do that by pushing the valve in the charging port on fat ac line if it dosent have pressure then u need to charge the system with ac due to figure out if it has leak .. check this first nothing will work if it dosent have pressure
I have a 2007 Nissan Altima with that same particular Air conditioner/heater with manual controls. Hi my friend what happen if the fuse is good , I don’t get power to the a/c compressor , the Freon is good,,, why I don’t get power to the a/c compressor??
Idk what u mean Freon is good ... di u recharge it by using ac machine recover and vaccume? It can be bad Ac pressure switch too much or too little pressure or electrical problem
RB, I have 2016 Nissan Altima SR. The AC will not blow real cold air. I checked the fuse, it's good. The air condition turn off and on. The charging gauge is in the red, indicating mechanical problems. please tell me what to do next.
Jackie Well if air is cold but not too cold like is supposed to be check ur Freon on it might be low or the ac compressor dosent make enough pressure try having it serviced
wes harrell how did u check it’s fully charged some times it’s air pressure did u try servicing it? It will click on due to air high pressure but will not make it cold
What do you do if you change the fuse and it still doesn’t work? The fuse that got replaced was bad and the second one burned as well. First mechanic found no leaks. 2nd mechanic wants me to change the AC compresor and condenser. The AC in my car only lasts about a month.
If fuse keeps blowing starts with some electrical diagnostic see what is the fuses connected to directly it might be ac compressor taking too much load
I have a 2007 nissan altima. Blowing hot air and I do not hear the compressor click on as usually does when put ac on. Does that mean even if I change the fuse that its probably the compressor?
Hope Fluder we’ll check the fuse check ac Freon pressure before you rule out it’s bad compressor check power at the connect of ac compressor if it got power then it’s defiantly bad
Hi, I have 2013 Altima and recently i changed compressor and it was cooling good for a week. Now it is cooling some times only, most of the time it is not cooling. ClanOfPyroGamers ok well to add Freon u have to vaccume and then add Freon it’s the best way to charge the ac system ... how every check your fuse for ac compressor also check power going to the ac compressor it’s one wire going to ac compressor u can use test light to check it ... if it has power then ur ac compressor is bad if it dosent have power try fining ac pressure switch if it’s 2 pin connector jump the wires to test if ac works
Vanessa.Jasmine no this would completely shut ac off but you car either had low refrigerant or if it has dual system then it can be bad blend door motor I’ll send u a link on explanation but diff car
check fuses you have fuse in the engine bay and under dash check for ac fuse also check to see if your system got ac freon pressure u can do that by pushing the pin inside the low side charging port

Hi, I have a Nissan Altima 2007 and ac is not blowing cold air so, I took it to Mechanic and he told me that the 2 wires are coming to from the compressor need to be replace. He used some took around the wires and then told me to check and the vent was blowing cold air. Something is not getting power and that why cold air is not coming, mechanic took me. Please advice if I have to change any relay because I think he checked the fuse and it was good. He is charging a lot of money and that I cannot afford to pay.
bilal raees try putting ac on and feel the ac line if it’s cold ..... if not then there’s one wire going to ac compressor u can look down where the ac compressor is and notice the wire come up to by the alternator check to see if that has power with test like should be simple 5 minute test. Let me know if it got power have the Ac switch on
Ok, I checked ac line was hot and I don’t have a tool to check wire if it has power. When mechanics checked it was 2 wires black/white and yellow/red connected to the compressor. He used some tool around those wires and then ac started working.
bilal raees you need to check for power with test light we can not make any decision u less u check to see if it’s getting power it could be bad connection at the ac compressor or shorted out wire but first we need to check for power
Tara Tara well it’s good that every thing comes on .... but ac can kick on with air pressure did u try checking if ur car has freeon try having it serviced... better yet watch my other ac videos put the ac on if the fat ac line is cold then yup ur ac is making cold 🥶 and u might have bad blend door motor or it’s stuck on heat side. Try checking the pipe feel it see if it’s cold
Tara Tara well try touch the fat line with ac on if it’s cold then it’s working if it’s not cold then you need to check ac Freon either is empty has air pressure or low or maybe ac compressor not making pressure
Tara Tara ok so ur ac kicks on but it’s not making cold so now u need to have it serviced maybe it has air pressure have it serviced by good machine vaccume and refil add oil and dye to detect leaks
Hey man, I was trying to recharge with Freon my son's 2008 Altima but I noticed that the a/c compressor is not engaging so I thought she had a bad compressor but I never get a chance to check the a/c compressor fuse it might be just the fuse only.
Can you remind me Monday morning I will check diagram on my computer to see if there’s a relay for this

Does that mean even if I change the fuse that its probably the compressor?

bilal raees try putting ac on and feel the ac line if it’s cold ..... if not then there’s one wire going to ac compressor u can look down where the ac compressor is and notice the wire come up to by the alternator check to see if that has power with test like should be simple 5 minute test.
I checked the 2 wires yellow/red and black/white are connected to the compressor has no power.
