If you'll use an oil like Grape seed oil to make a Hibiscus Flower oil, you won't need water in this, therefore not having to use a preservative... Pour Grape seed oil (no scent) cover the leaves, you can do a cold press, where you put the oil/leaves in a container and leave for 4 to 5 weeks, then strain off the oil, through a sieve (cotton, gauze) ... or you can put a hot oil on the leaves and strain it off in 24 hours... Hope this helps. Love this video
So cool just saw a vanilla bean in the store yesterday and here you just showed me how to use it!! Going to make this!! Please post lemon basil recipe 😊👍🏽
Love the recipe! I bet that combo smells so good together. ❤ I plan on using this recipe as a base for my own sugar scrub my question is can I add a perservative like Optiphen in it? i do plan on selling mine & want to ensure that the product lasts as long as possible.
Because you added water to this recipe I would think you would need to add some type of preservative to prevent mold and microbial growth. I would be very hesitant to use this after more than a few day's of being made.
+Russell Garuti Good point! These sugar scrubs should be used within a week or two after they are made and should be stored in the fridge to prevent mold and microbial growth. Also, it is important to use a clean spoon or scoop when applying the sugar scrub so that no germs are introduced to the scrub from your hands! Thank you for watching!
Hi, I have made the coffee oil and it smells fantastic! My question is you have other recipes for scrubs can you put them in molds? Or.can you use your.coffee scrub recipe as a base? Thanks for your input.
+Emilie Lefler Awesome sugar scrub video. I am a first timer when it comes to down making this myself and I was wondering where could you purchase the vanilla bean whole like that
Very nice DIY. Love your videos. I can't bealive how are you creative... Realy amazing. Can I ask you... must I use vanilla bean? Thanks for answer. (sorry for my bad writing english and gramatic... I am from Czech Republic)
+LA-FEI SEI-DIR. Hi! You don't have to use the vanilla bean, it is just in there for some extra vanilla goodness! You could always just add a tiny bit more of the vanilla extract. I probably wouldn't use more than 1 teaspoon total of the vanilla extract. Thank you so much for your support! Thanks for watching! xo
Absolutely! Sugar in the raw will work. Because the texture of sugar in the raw is not as fine as regular sugar, it will make the sugar scrub more "scrubby" so you will get more exfoliating benefits. Thanks for watching! Happy crafting! xo

cocao 900 it's actually not expensive in the dried spice section. It has a great aroma
Ambar Vera Okay, thank you! I was having a lot of trouble finding it.
Sounds edible! Is it?
Can I use coconut oil instead?
Rosalia Rojo yes but be careful with it on your face, it can clog pores
