As border czar she could have pushed congress to create a specific bill regarding the border. She could have created a report on the border to share with the Speaker of the House so a new bill could be made. She could provately or publicly talk to the president giving suggestions on things to do.
The fact is Kamala has none of those things to brag about because she did nothing but watch everyone else do stuff.
Compare to Dick Chaney who was practically acting like he was president during the Iraq War. Whatever that guy wanted he made happen through bartering, threatening, voting, or drafting bills. Dude was busy.
