One idea I had is that Lil Gud is trying to splice his DNA with different creatures, mammal and sea creature, to try to make himself, and possible clones of Lil Gud, the perfect species, hence the random growing and shrinking. Also with him growing, he might grow to giant size for the final boss. The legendary, BEEG JUD.

I think why lil Judd is more fuzzy is because he touched fuzzy ooze and it has made him have the same vision as Mr Grizz but with his feelings and problems mixed in with it.
When you beat him in tableturf he says some pretty sketchy stuff and literally threatens you.

If they made the cat a clone, I think that his motives would stem from the fact that he has the same memories as the original Judd, only to wake up as an infant and be told "sorry, you're a clone." He is an adult creature's mind trapped in a child's body, desperate for respect and furious at being ignored
This theory is awesome it makes so much sense lil judd is definitely a villain we already know his plan to replace and most likely kill judd but it feels like he has more to plan what if lil judd uses judd to make clones of himself and take all the fur from the clones to continue mr.grizz's plan who knows
perhaps refine it to a point where Inklings and octolings won't be looking like cat's hairball spat out, and more like Hijacked fuzzy opponents (which we would have to liberate with "pure ink"... kind of a stretch, but still less stretchy than Ninja Squid😉😹)
I think lil Judd is the next villain. What if he's the villain in the DLC next year. If so, then that is not surprising. He's always looks so innocent but you know that he's staring into your soul. It's scary.
I believe that Dedf1sh would be the main villain of the DLC. Hear me out.
Dedf1sh is the sanitized composer of the Deep Metro Test Domes who willingly sanitized herself in order to remove her doubts of production, and she regrets it. After Tartar is killed off, she was trapped inside Deep Metro for 5 years. And within those 5 years, she begins to lose her mind. With the help of the very limited Sanitized Octarians, Dedf1ish invents a Machine that can make the user to took control of the Sanitizing victims and plots to rule the world in her own image.

She might be the main villain but she's also a pretty good dj though the songs are underrated
4:17 the reason behind lil’ judd having a deck of cards based on salmon run is probably because he is a cat. Cats like fish, salmon are fish, so lil’ judd just wants to use those cards probably because his favorite food is salmon (idk if there is actual cat food in the splatoon world but it’s just a theory)
There where tons of signs for Mr.Grizz being the next villian in splatoon 2, and this video proves that Lil'Judd is infact a little more then we thought he was. Lil'Judd running Grizz Co. would not be suprising because there are only two mammals left in the world (That we know of) and Judd himself has some loyalty to the inklings. Great video, keep it up!

This is a nice theory about Lil Judd. And if he does become our next villain, I can only assume that the devs might give what people want in the form of Agent 7 since there are multiple theories about one popping up in the games at some point in the future.
And speaking of Grizz Co, I don't know if you covered this fact in your previous videos, but when the 3rd Wave ends with someone close to encountering the Cohozuna the victory jingle is slightly different with some of the music notes. The best way to describe it is if you've watched Ready or Not and saw the deformed Hide and Seek record play again before the Le Domas's are taken by Le Bail.
My friend told me last night that lil Judd’s tableturf deck was the SR bosses and I knew it was going down
I can totally see Li'l Judd's discolored, spikier fur in Splatoon 3 possibly being a result of Fuzzy Ooze exposure (either being just a tiny exposure, or simply having less of an effect due to him already being a mammal).
I think the dlc villain is The professor. We fought 2 of the professor's creation, being Tar Tar and grizz,
Judd is the professor's personal pet with lil Judd in lore being a clone who hatched in splatoon 2, Judd and lil Judd are stated to be immortal, which in lore the professor inject Judd and his clone with a serum making them immortal out of love for his creation and to help the next civilization, similar to Tar Tars goal, but Tar Tar grew tire of Inklings and Octolings war and wanted to restart the world, which is what grizz also wants.
The thing is, we don't know if the professor is alive or dead. I think he lives and was in hibernation like grizz was.

As a concept artist myself, nothing is done by accident. This is all done on purpose to hint at the players. Lil judd is definitely the next villain, either for splat 4 in the far future or for the upcoming dlc lol or whenever (depends on where we are in the story). But I guarantee you he will be revealed at some point to be the next villain.

I believe he may be using the Golden Eggs to try and create something to get rid of Judd's immortality or straight up kill him like how Mr. Grizz used them to create the fuzzy ooze.
I don't think he is going to be the villain in Side Order since apparently he was on team Chaos, Marina is definitely involved in that one though.
It would be amazing for this to be the last story (since this is supposed to be the ending of the story, or at least that's what the trailer said) in the Octo Expansion. Imagine a final battle against him with the ultimate and most epic remix of Calamari Inkantation sing by Squid Sisters, Deep Cut and Off The Hook. Man! It would be so epic to end that little cat with the ultimate Booyah bomb! Or even have a phase with the Zipcaster!

Another thing that adds to the theory is that Judd is immortal. The Professor gave him a serum of some sort along with freezing him. Little Judd however, is just a clone.
It hasn’t been stated in the lore that Little Judd got the same treatment as Judd. A serum or any medication has nothing to do with genetic material or DNA. *So Little Judd’s anxiety might also stem from his own mortality and fear of death.*
That’s really messed up, which is to be expected with the game’s lore. But the idea ties in nicely with Splatoon 3’s themes of memory, passing on knowledge, and accepting things how they are no matter how painful they may be.
I feel like this is true, maybe we work with the last surviving human to destroy Lil' Judd, maybe Lil' Judd has more clones of Judd just evil. I feel like he looks odd, his furry is fuzzy, maybe he is working in a lab with electricity? I feel like your theory is better! He’s just a mafia boss, when it’s revealed they call him Fat Judd instead of Lil Judd
Lil' Judd would get a lot of anxiety due to how cats operate in the real world, especially when two Toms (males) are within the same turf.
Cats are territorial by nature and have a pecking order establishment, and once figuring out the ranks, any cat(s) in question will live amongst each other peacefully.
They have volatile moods due to their sensitivity, and disruptions of such winding down moments can trigger hypersensitivity and thus a fight to boot.
It's likely that Lil' Judd will challenge Judd at some point using this bad guy persona as a coping mechanism for his anxiety where familiar parties will get involved in an attempt to stop cataclysms from happening in one way or another.
Cats with age gaps tend to become friends quickly, but cats of relatively the same age can spark conflict amongst each other, even if Judd chooses to be a pacifist about established turf (since Judd lives in Flounder Heights, and Inkopolis is just a spot where he works as a job.)
If Judd gets taken out of the picture, then that would leave Lil' Judd as the sole surviving mammal, while the entire sport of Turf War may be disrupted in some form since the judge of "good guy" disappeared entirely.
In Splatoon, Good Guys and Bad Guys are just team names, which have canonical file names of Alpha and Bravo respectively (and alpha is defaulted as the winner if a practical tie occurs.)
TL;DR - Since they're the same age, and they are also approaching similar size, it's likely that Lil' Judd will fight Judd for established turf due to how instinctive cat behavior works due to a lack of established pecking order on top of loud, blaring music enticing such anxiety attacks to begin with.
if your the proffeser u might have made the cats and when the flood happened you turned into an inkling or octoling and thenyou made lil judd in splatoon 2 and thenin splatoon 3 you see what a mammal can do so you continue to fight mr grizz but maybe the next game you try and stip judd because hes mad and wants to fight you because he knows hes judds replacment

I thought this is interesting enough to share. While I was starting a new account on the switch to enjoy Splatoon 2 tutorial and hero mode for nostalgia, there's a little picture that I've noticed while Pearl was commenting on the missing great zapfish on the left of the TV screen. It's Pearl with glowy sharp-like eyes pulling on lil Judd's tail who was concerned or surprised about it.
Perhaps this hints that Pearl is going to do something about lil Judd's malicious intent in the dlc or future projects? Who knows, but Pearl's gonna get him back for whatever reason he's doing or gonna do.

Yeah Lil Jud always seemed a little fishy too me so I wouldn't be surprised if he did become the next villain. Although I think his want to replace Jud is simply because Jud never talks to him which makes Lil Jud feel lonely I know that for people anxiety is dangerous and feeling lonely while also having emence anxiety can apparently make someone think or do things they wouldn't normally do. So I believe that his whole villain arc would work around that concept and probably end with Jud finally understand if only a bit how the laziness he developed in recent years has effected those around him and I imagine in the end he would probably offer to leave with Callie and Marie to inkopolis so that way Lil Jud could finally feel like his own person. Which could play a part in the inevitable final splatoon 3 splatfest in whatever year it will inevitably happen. Like it could maybe have the idols from all come to shibara town/splatsvill to throw the biggest splatfest ever but with a twist taking us between the 3 different hub worlds ending in the splatoon 1 hub world but a slightly improved one. With Jud and Lil Jud getting to shine on their respective sides and then maybe in the judging screen after ever match they swap place just to mess with everyone. I don't know it's honestly an idea I've been sitting on for awhile.
For anyone wondering yes the inkopolis from splatoon 1 and the one from splatoon 2 are two different areas in the universe the splatoon 1 version is where Saint Louis would be in America meanwhile the second is meant to be where New York is and then the new hub world is literally just built on the remains of Hong Kong from China hence all the Chinese themed and Japanese themed things, the Japanese things being brought there by the flood and then uncovered by the second great flood much like the upside down Effile tower.
Lil Judd using salmon run cards is really suspicious. That’s what makes me think he will become the new leader.

Hopefully In later installments Lil’ Judd will be somewhat redeemed like Octavio. Like Lil’ Judd will realize that he doesn’t need to obsess over taking down his bro but to focus on himself and what he can do. He took over Grizzco and Big Judd is just happy judging games. If he replaced Big Judd it would feel empty and unsatisfying without Big Judd and he would see that Big Judd doesn’t define him anymore. Or something similar to that would be fine.
