Anne was literally in concert while Celine had yet to arrive, her plane was delayed. She arrived, drove straight to the venue, changed, and walked on stage. Sang perfectly, walked off, got back on her plane.
I've been an Anne Murray fan since 1970, but when I heard Dawn sing for the first time, my jaw dropped. She is beyond good. Her voice is gorgeous. Her delivery is flawless.

She is the perfect lady and best female singer. I could see the love in her eyes when she sang with her lovely daughter. This made my night, it was such a happy time for me with many memories. She is who she is & much respect for her efforts to protect her private life from public. I had 3 brothers, a career in music, a brother who punched me whenever he saw me, a Dad who pointed out sharps & flats listening to Harry Belefonte & more. Back in the 70s when there was no internet and TV and radio was the only source of entertainment, watching the TV specials that had Anne Murray appearing it was a very special treat. Her concept of the duets being done live, rather than her performance and her guests' performances being blended electronically (as many duet albums have been done) speaks to her integrity and common sense.
One of the best female singers in my lifetime. Surprised to see Celtic Women, I love them. Had a CD signed by Lisa. She teaches singing and dance in Georgia where my son lives, and I went down for a visit this summer.Didn't get to meet her tho as she was out of town and did't get back until the day after I left. She texted us where to leave it and she would sign it and send it back, which she did. Not many celebs would do that. But shes a LADY!!!

I remember hearing Snowbird - sung by "Canada's Songbird" when I was in high school in Ireland c.1972. I was lucky enough to move to Canada a few years later in 1976, for which I am eternally grateful. I have always considered Anne's voice to be the most musical/ tuneful in the pop world. To hear her hold her own here with the great Celine is completely inspiring, beautiful ... a knockout!
