Those servers would be dead on arrival. The only people you would find on that servers are pve'ers, hub afk'ers and bots. It was good, novel idea when MMORPGs were in their infancy. Most gamers are adults' not kids or teens, even then, don't want to log on to their PVP server and get rolled by some whale or tuna. Focus on fixing their gear system, then move to item 2. PVP doesn't make money or help enhancing.
Really refreshing to see a video with a little more positivity than the usual drama just repeating that the game sucks. I am staying hopeful as well for a better PvP experience. They really need to capitalize on their awesome combat system which I still have not find anything close to it in any other game. Which is the only reason I keep going back to it even as a casual player now.
I remember during my early days in BDO.. everyones unaliving each other in Catfish Camp before Naga Released good olll days 🤣 hope that kind of feeling comes back in 2025
For me, something that should be done is to leave only one gear that all characters share and the individual crystals for each character. That in the seasons you can get something that allows you to improve your family gear as long as you complete a mission or objective. There are many characters and you can't equip them all and in my case I get bored playing the same character, especially because I have one of each class. I have my Main character and the one linked for "combat" but I'm just getting on top of the Tuvala equipment despite having several years in the game, I have more characters with bs in tet to be able to use them and vary them so that everything is concentrated in the Main.
It seems to me that they need to completely remove the karma system, but return to the normal guild system, when the guilds are divided into pvp and pve. And PvP guilds go to sieges and can throw wars at other PvP guilds. This is the only option in which you can share both types of players on the server. Otherwise, they just need to separate not the channels, but the servers. But of course they can go the other way. Remove pvp from the game, in principle, as unnecessary content that wastes developer resources, but which no one needs. And turn the game into a fishing simulator. Sieges can be turned into sieges against mobs. And make RBF with mobs too.
the audience has shifted to pve, because the pvp is dead. not because thats what everyone wants. the majority of this games player base, people that probably left recently or a long time ago, wants a pvp mmo. people that play this game for pve only are literally just weird lol its a pvp game. but now whats left of the player base is mainly pve players because all the pvp players are gone, and now bdo is a dead pvp game with no content lol

I honestly wish BDO had gear system akin to Guild Wars 2 where there's short of a cap to it at the same time implement something beneficial to make players feel they have sense of progression...
I think pvp is the way it is because of the gear gaps, renown score is not the answer, nor is taking out cc resist, there is only so long you can fight someone over geared. Coming back after being away shorty I am still seeing people join the pvp scene, from life skillets to grinders, I think we have the people in the game that are into pvp and the ones that will come back if they make the right changes to the game that the player base needs. People these days I don’t feel get so offended compared to past bdo, seems like people move in very fast to a new spot or a new target. I would love to see node wars get fixed, I think they should stick with the alliance system it gave guilds with pvx player base, players the option to do node wars with like minded people, players the ability to pvp in node war and open world scenarios. I think if they really made the end gear obtainable with max enchantment without all the crons and extras advise of valks 250+ we need, it’s kind of crazy. I’ve been doing my khrarzad and man was it a task and 3/4. But and the end of the day they can only attempt to implement the changes players want.
When the refugees of LoA flooded the game, the dev’s brain is also been flooded they haven’t seen anything like this before. It worked for... 2 xpacs, before it stalled out.
The removal of resistance means, the all classes needs to be fast enough to react to a block jumping class. The era of slow class is over unless we want to go to a full SA meta for everyone. Guardian needs to be as fast a awake nova to be able to react for "Skills" related reason.
