There is no option to save anywhere. Can you give me a suggestion on what else I can do? I have updated, downloaded iBooks, AND downloaded Adobe Acrobat. I am at my wits end...please help!

If you have an older iPad, press and hold the screen and look in the top right corner for the curved arrow. Press that and it will give you the option to open in iBooks.

I did. I think the problem was that it's only for pdf and i was trying to do the same for word docs and powerpoints. does this work only on safari?

sometimes iBooks opens as a save option- some other pdfs, for some reason, will not sync with iBooks

Try again in Safari. It may not work in other browsers when you press and hold unless you're using the Safari browser that came with your iPad.

Strange. It should work the same ad an iPad. It is the same OS.
If you have an older iPad, press and hold the screen and look in the top right corner for the curved arrow. Press that and it will give you the option to open in iBooks.

You should be able to email them as attachments. You could email them to a PC and try uploading them from there. Maybe the site you are using doesn't work with the iPad browser.
