Though I would just use my regular go to: cadillac boot and shoe care on it. I also hear that people swear by using a certain lotion... I can't remember what lotion it is for the life of me, but it's a hand lotion like juviderm or something like that.
I just recently thrifted my first Balenciaga mini it's a 2005 edition but it's in great condition, came with a dustbag & mirror! I was hesitant at first because the price was $178 I felt like that was too good to be true & it was on ebay from Japan but thank god for the purse forum they authenticated it & I snatched it up real quick I'm so in love I only had to order a long strap for it since it only has the top handles & shoulder strap. Now I need more! lol I also scored an Alexander Wang Rockie in Acid for $130 since it was "dirty" which it wasn't!
Omg! You got to love the sellers from Japan on eBay. They have such reasonably priced items, though you always have to be careful of fakes, but purse forum is awesome for helping authenticate! I'm so happy for you! And a rookie in acid?! Perfection! I actually have an Alexander wang iPad case and clutch (the one with a handle strap thing, it's awesome and reminds me of a discuss for some reason even though it's not round) in acid. It's one of my favorite colors that he had! I wish I had everything in acid, lol. Such great finds! Congratulations! Yayyyyy!!!!! I always love hearing about other people's awesome thrift finds. I forgot I also have the small fumo wristlet wallet, but I forgot it was acid because I dyed it black because it was so dirty and I couldn't clean it anymore. I also have the regular fumo continental wallet, it's more of a swamp green color. I want the regular sized iPad case in the acid fumo.

I forgot to mention that I need to clean the outside and inside of the Neverfull. Do you keep your bags in dust bags? I have the Neverfull in the Louis Vuitton box and inside the dust bag and I keep the majority of the bags in dust bags. I will keep an eye on the videos you will be posting regarding the cleaning and of course the dying of handbags. Thanks again!
Hi! Okay, I'm the worst at putting my bags in dust bags. It's really really bad, but seeing them just makes me happy so I have them literally hanging everywhere. I need to figure out how to display them and store them properly. I'm in charge of my moms bag collection and her bags are in another rooms closet in dust bags and I set up some shelving in the closet to place them. But I recommend keeping them in dust bags. Putting them in their boxes is fine, but I would open the boxes and air it out every so often? I would do it about every month because sometimes moisture can accumulate in the box (even if may seem unlikely) and especially if you bag has vachetta leather, it may darken or patina faster or unevenly. So I definitely recommend allowing the bag to "breathe" so to speak. I also recommend those silica gel packs and just throwing them in the box too. But I think storing them in the boxes is fine as long as you're airing them out. And one of the most important thing that people always forget is to stuff their bags to help keep their structure and avoid creasing. Aaaand, I ramble a lot. I think I'll do a video about how I stope my bags once I start storing them properly so I don't feel so ashamed for their current state, lol.
Beautiful collection!😊 My favorite one, is the yellow one!(Plus the cute yellow mini keychain^-^) Also even though, I love the off white one. I would dye it, a statement color. Like Red :)
She was one of my favorites as well, but I actually just sold her to make room for more things! I love yellow and always finding myself buying yellow things (especially handbags), I should have done a yellow handbag collection. But I recently just sold my yellow Balenziaga and yellow Proenza tote. And the balenciaga would be gorgeous in red! I still haven't decided exactly what color to dye it since I'm still enjoying it in it's current color, but it's honestly so hard to keep clean that I think I'm going to dye it before the end of the summer.

I had a question about the pony hair black balenciaga, did you have any problems with the pony hair material like shredding or getting bald spot due to rubbing against a surface too much...i questioning about getting this balenciaga pony i found brand new but idk if it will too high maintenance since its pony hair and not the leather...
hi hadrian, I use to feel the same way like you do about thrifting. I only thought that thrift stores carried vintage pieces. I would go into ts to resell and not think that I would find anything, I would want to keep for me. yet, I quickly realized thrift stores had current items that were not necessarily dated and in good, great and sometimes nwt condition. just a couple of years ago when I was in graduate school, I started not only looking for ebay inventory, stuff for me, but now stuff for my apartment that I am currently storing in my storage unit. I have saved so much money for my home. But, it is hard for me at times to remain calm in the ts when I find something exciting for me!

My sister is moving back to CA and I've recently been getting her furniture and seeing how much $200 could get me and then I want to try and restore some of the pieces. I don't think I've spent more than $120 yet and I already got a dining table, console, coffee, sofa, and arm chair.
