Awesome videos, thanks for sharing your vacation with us. :-) Also cool to see snow, as it's been really warm here in SC(South Carolina) with days in the upper 70's.
Wow! Japan is so beautiful!! I really wanted to see the big demon but never the less this was an amazing video! Hope you are enjoying your vacation Luke!!
I wouldn't imagine such cold temperature in Japan. Well I did but only in the mountains. It just stopped freezing here in the Netherlands. We had our share of - 15 degrees c. Now it's finaly in the up. 6 degrees c.
Love ALL your vids Luke. I'm curious, how much Japanese did you know prior to moving to Japan versus how much have you learned since living there? Really fun to watch your travels. Would be cool if you had a Japanese friend who'd be willing to let you tape a conversation between you and them and then annotate some translation for some language tips.
Luke, got a question for you. Is it just me or is Japan a lot cleaner and less polluted than America? It seems that in all the pictures and videos I've seen of Japan everything is clean, no trash on the ground, roads in good shape, no grafitti or vandalization of buildings, etc. Am I just seeing the nice areas?
nice vid,do you get the "kappa" up that way? :) i think thats how you say/pronounce it,there was a program here in the uk about it this week.enjoy your trip.
@iMixMaSteR1 I visited Japan without speaking any Japanese (not because I didn't know any words, I was just shy), however, I knew how to read it somewhat at the time which helped a lot.
I don't know why but the first thing I think of when watching this video, especially from you Luke, is Tokyo Bus for the Dreamcast. Also, nobody gave you a hard time for narrating your video while on the bus? I thought it was considered bad manners to speak while on public transit, especially with ketei. Correct me if I'm wrong about that. Thanks for the insider view.

these japanese culture vids are awesome. Thank you Luke :)
The snow everywhere looks alot like how the weather is here in Ottawa, Canada.
Love how it's all snowing there. Here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, it's 80 degrees. We never had a winter. Haha.
