All ogryns are intelligent enough to reload their weapons they just prefer letting their blood-lust/blood-frenzy take over which makes them want to go into melee combat where reloading is irrelevant when compared to bashing a face in with a bayonet or the stock of their ripper guns.

So him being able to count to 30 well I think he is a plausible candidate for the BONE implant. But I also think we need to properly establish what we define ogryn intelligence to be. I mean it is established that they are as intelligent as a child but children can be very creative and imaginative when dealing with problems if they are provided the right upbringing, mindset and time to understand the issue and what the expectation for the solution is to be.

Ogryns are not just strong but they're also strong for their size and weight, since they evolved in high gravity environments. That's crazy strong considerin these big boys are upwards of 9ft tall
You all probably have guessed this already, but it's probably so that the ogryn's face can stay in frame while they talk so the dev's wouldn't have to shift the camera angle. Apparently including the crouching animation was cheaper than the camera shift? Who can say for sure

Yeah it reminds me of the shotgun in Vermintide, completely useless until they buffed it's damage, bullet count and reload speed, of which is was still only good for hordes compared to meta weapons. Why Fatshark repeat the same mistakes I will never know.
Really wish games like this were possible to complete, single-player. I love the Warhammer-verse, and the horde-like gameplay of this and the Vermintide games, but I have zero online friends, and am just sick of other 40k games being all RTS, virtual chess (Turn-based strategy), or top-down view XD
I doubt there will be any type of solo experience for this one, since it's more persistent lobby-based on their servers, whereas Vermintide was more peer-to-peer, I believe. They do have bots in the game when your group hasn't filled or a player drops out. You sometimes start with an all bot group but you can't control if/when other people join in and replace a bot. Still, if you want to play it, people probably won't be too unbearable until late in the game's life. Most random party members are basically silent anyway. Very, very few use voice chat(which you can turn off) and text chat is pretty sporadic.

One thing I like is the change to the servo skulls. In prior games they just floated with undescribed antigrav. Here, there's a visible thruster keeping them in flight.

I never played it but I've seen a lot of people comparing them. Both are based inside of hive cities so I guess the art design is deliberately similar and probably overseen by Games Workshop.
What is a little known fact is that Ogryns can organically get smart - they are just culled for it - as smart Ogryn is...an abberation. A heresy. So it doesnt exist. It is made sure it doesnt. Theres a literal Ogryn female psyker getting more skilled right now in lore
For anyone who says the games characters dialogue is weak and that even the class dialogue is weak compared to Vermintide 2 but what does that even mean if you honestly don't know the lore of the game very well when i have no shame in saying i barely know the lore but just enough know the setting of world that is Warhammer 40K plus i actually have a sense of patience because nothing in this world is made perfect from the getgo and if nobody hasn't figured that out already then you guys got a lot of growing up to do.
All the gameplay and NPC dialogue remains the same. There are a couple random lines that change based on personality choice(The Bodyguard, The Brawler, The Bully for Ogryn for example). But it's the same mission and gameplay for all classes. I didn't figure anyone would really want to watch the same exact thing 4 times in a row so I just left it at two.

Just a glitch with the video that I didn't notice. I don't know if that's from a recording hiccup or if that's just a Davinci Resolve issue. There's occasionally issues where there's trouble reading some frames like that.

Offline, no. Solo with NPC comrades, sort of. It will start you in a game with NPC bots if no one queues up at the same time, but you can't prevent others from joining. However, if you play with a friend, 2+ party premades can lock their lobbies as private. Currently, solo can't set their party as private.
Honestly other then ogryn there's no personality or anything that matter. they really cucked out on the dialoque and diffrences. I had the same dialogue as every other veteran and what planet i am from and life choices doesnt reflect anything. I mean wtf all the cutscenes after prologue is just you nodding to people talking over you like your not even there. I dont fucking get it? Its such a huge pile of wasted shit. Game would need another 3 years in development. Its litterly a fucking MISSION REPEAT GAME. With hardly any diffrences. So there's no excuse why they could not have edited diffrent cutscenes and stuff for each class. But they took the cheap path and litterly copy pasted the same for every one of them. If the game did not have as fun solid combat as it does it would overwhelmlingly negative on steam. It lacks so much depth and they focused more on having a microtransaction vendor then actual systems for progression. I played Solasta Crown of the magister the other day. where you litterly got 10 diffrent classes like 15 diffrent races. And you can pick from like 20 diffrent personalites that you can alter and do subversion of each. And each one of them gives 100% unique dialoge with diffrent reactions and wording. And this is from some small indi studio with like 5 people making it. There's no excuse.. Vermintide 1-2 had more content. Better progression on launch and did not focuse at all on milking money from its playerbase day one.

Its litterly a fucking MISSION REPEAT GAME. With hardly any diffrences. So there's no excuse why they could not have edited diffrent cutscenes and stuff for each class. But they took the cheap path and litterly copy pasted the same for every one of them. If the game did not have as fun solid combat as it does it would overwhelmlingly negative on steam.
It lacks so much depth and they focused more on having a microtransaction vendor then actual systems for progression.
I played Solasta Crown of the magister the other day. where you litterly got 10 diffrent classes like 15 diffrent races. And you can pick from like 20 diffrent personalites that you can alter and do subversion of each.
And each one of them gives 100% unique dialoge with diffrent reactions and wording. And this is from some small indi studio with like 5 people making it.
There's no excuse.. Vermintide 1-2 had more content. Better progression on launch and did not focuse at all on milking money from its playerbase day one.
