For anyone wondering, gilded athena's quests were offered for a limited time over Christmas. The non-gilded quests only rewards you with 1 athena, but the gilded athena quests rewards you with 3.

The kind of plays done in these streams are exactly why a pirate game was so interesting to me in the first place. They're not always used for bad either! Once I was playing by myself in a sloop and had a measly captain's chest (I'm not particularly far or good at the game) from raiding a sunken ship and when I get back up with a seafarer's chest I see a galleon with full crew blowing my tiny little sloop to bits and honestly I got killed pretty quick because I was just one noob. Thing is I respawned while my ship was still floating there and snuck on their ship and hid like Summit does here. When the time came for them to near an outpost with my loot, I took my captain's chest back right under their noses and cashed it in. Then I snuck back on their ship and played mindgames with them and sabotaged their attempts to survive a Kraken where they eventually went down. Onel ittle newbie with a sloop could still get his sweet revenge against a full team of, probably more experienced, players. This kind of shit is why I love the game and why even being a solo newbie doesn't have to mean that you'll get run over by pros.
It is so good seeing summit being on top again, all those fortnite streamers only played that game for the views, and summit never Got trappes. And he is profiting from it now. Funny seeing all the fortnite streamers trying to Join the SOT hype train for views. Summit actually streams for the enjoyment of it, and the viewers feel that and gravitate to it! Gj summit.

Well, he's also running a streaming app for Twitch behind that as well. If you have an Intel quad core CPU above 3GHz, you should be fine. As for the GPU load, it seems like anything above a GTX 770 could run this game maxed out. Doesnt seem to have much GPU intensive bits, just some CPU heavy stuff like objects floating in water. Speaking of water, that is a hard thing to render if the surface has a high poly count. Turn the water setting down a bit and it would run pretty well on just about anything I'd imagine.

I think he was turning his hud back on to verify that it was a gilded athena quest. He probably just left the overlay up incase an enemy walked in and had their nameplate exposed.
Can anyone explain to why people get loads of loot instead of just a quest at a time and selling once you got a rare chest instead of going for me? Do you get a bigger percentage the more quests you have done without cashing in?
People stock up their loot in large quantities because it saves tons of time. Going to an outpost after every quest would just take away time from doing more quests.

I dont understand how this is supposed to make me want this game like everyone is saying. Half of this video was them going "THATS SO SICK MAN! DUUUUUDE" and swimming in water grabbing chests and throwing them in a dingy lil row boat. The other half sailing to a city to cash all those chests in one at a time. small portion of the video seemed like actual gameplay.
Quick question: How can summit (or any other person) know if they're on an Athena voyage and know its Guilded or if its any other thing like Gold Buck or anything?
You can tell what kind of voyage it is just looking at the parchment on the captain's table. You have to have your HUD on and hover over it to see that it is a gilded voyage. That's why Summit turned on his overlay. He had to turn his HUD on and didn't want to risk anyone seeing the names of the other team while he did that.

Turned his HUD back on and looked at the quest on the table. He doesn't play with HUD on so people can't see the players names and either stream snipe, or harass them
All this guys making donations to gain attention from him, he Don t even care, so hilarious
He reads them and catches up all the time on stream but you wouldn't know that because you're watching a yt video in the middle of him doing something

Your mermaid won't spawn if you're on another ship. Once he got away from his first mermaid, it wouldn't spawn again.
@@Arkalius80 mermaids always spawn when you're swimming. Yes I know they dont spawn when you're on a ship. But he swam so far and usually when I do this. A mermaid will pop up right next the enemies ship.
anthony rodriguez maybe you didn’t watch the video or the stream, but you only have to have half a brain to realize his teams ship isn’t far away and is doing either a drive by or parking off at the next island. Why do you think the enemy ship had a player looking through and eye glass upon approaching the ship, but didn’t see summit at all? Because he was spotting summits ship not summit.

PhishShticks it’s an AFK check. So basically if he rolls throw the settings like that and goes back to the game he can lie down for hours on end and the game won’t kick him for being AFK

I think he was turning his hud back on to verify that it was a gilded athena quest. He probably just left the overlay up incase an enemy walked in and had their nameplate exposed.
Funny that 40k isn't that insane of a haul anymore. A year ago it took like 5 hours to get 40k with emissaries it takes like 2 hours
Can anyone explain to why people get loads of loot instead of just a quest at a time and selling once you got a rare chest instead of going for me? Do you get a bigger percentage the more quests you have done without cashing in?
People stock up their loot in large quantities because it saves tons of time. Going to an outpost after every quest would just take away time from doing more quests.

Once they have finished checking the back I move to the back but if they double check then you’re done
I dont know much about this game but seeing summit play and make these theists are quite entertaining, im just wondering how do you distribute it amongst the other members in your crew? Like i said only watched summit and seen only 3 vids so far.

I dont understand how this is supposed to make me want this game like everyone is saying. Half of this video was them going "THATS SO SICK MAN! DUUUUUDE" and swimming in water grabbing chests and throwing them in a dingy lil row boat. The other half sailing to a city to cash all those chests in one at a time. small portion of the video seemed like actual gameplay.

Quick question: How can summit (or any other person) know if they're on an Athena voyage and know its Guilded or if its any other thing like Gold Buck or anything?
He looks at their quest, it's on the captain's table
You can tell what kind of voyage it is just looking at the parchment on the captain's table. You have to have your HUD on and hover over it to see that it is a gilded voyage. That's why Summit turned on his overlay. He had to turn his HUD on and didn't want to risk anyone seeing the names of the other team while he did that.
