As always you have a real eye for your craft , love your work and variation of vegetation there. If I may make a suggestion to add 2-3 taller pieces that would provide a canopy. maybe link 1 of the taller pieces with a couple smaller one with vines and leaves and such. just a suggestion, your jungle terrain came out 100x better then what i could do. Looking forward to more vids.
You could also add plants growing out of the holes in the skeleton to make it look more like the jungle is taking over. Seems like the skeleton is almost a bit too "clean". Really cool pieces though! Amazing work, keep it up! ^^
This is, by far, the best jungle gaming terrain I have ever seen. I can tell how much time and effort went into crafting the plants. I think it would look even better if you filed down the mold lines on the skeleton.
Man ... you keep making already the best stuff out there EVEN BETTER. Get out of here man, this is sick. You are really out doing yourself on so many levels. Hands down best war gaming terrain studio out there. LOVE the diversity.
Amazing work. Seeing the jungle skeleton piece have you ever considered doing a fumarole field and/or mud pool set? I think it would work excellent with your new modular disc system with different sized pools/puddles and perhaps some partially exposed bone pieces scattered in some of the pools.
Kickstarter or indiegogo for funding the camera. I know I'd love to chip in for that. I'd like to give back for all the hard work and generosity your videos have been. Just Sayin'.
I looken at these pieces on your site and the flock colour looks great, in my previous comment I thought it looked a bit grey, but I Think that could have been due ro video camera compared to "normal" camera. So I'm sorry for my premature comment. I generally think your terrain is the best I've seen made. Keep it up:-)
Love the bones, and the imagination Mr.... Also your lighting and camera work is better than most...Hard to understand some times, as an example a pic from Craig's list and you cant even make out whats there...So kudos to you., it only makes sense.
You are such a perfectionist in your work, how long does it take you to build one of these bases? I do so enjoy seeing your pieces & hearing your ideas.
Great work. With Lizardmen getting a reboot these will fit right in on the WH Fantasy scene. Where did you find your skeleton? I have seen skulls, but not full skeletons.
Hey that is absolutely divine. I absolutely love those jungle pieces. I have always wanted to do something similar so I could play with my lizardmen ,but never know how to go about doing it! Could you do a tutorial someday please? I would greatly appreciate it.
Looks amazing but you may ready know my aversion to the jungle set because it just looks like plastic or aquarium plants but regardless when you put it together, it looks absolutely gorgeous, the flowers plants go together so well but that still looks a little like plastic but looks amazing nonetheless :) I'll keep an eye out for more :)
They remind me of the Botanical Gardens, a beautiful result - mini-terrain, the only way i appreciate them - it's fantastic that i now enjoy plastic plants - thanks a million - General Rid Stump!!!
I like the plants but the basing flock could be greener maybe? from a far it almost looks like something you'd find under a bed (This is not intended as an insult) but maybe it would look better with a more brown/green look?
Right now I have shifted to custom work only. No store option unfortunately. At this time, I am not taking any new requests for work. I'm booked for quite a while. :)
Dude, these pieces are amazing, and like your friend said.. so much to look at! I love that stegadon piece too, visual feast! Just one question, what do you use for the earth surrounding the plants? Is it a mix of different turfs just glued on?
Tim Everton Basically. I have blend for the base layer and then add some highlights on top of that. Seal it all down with spray of PVA and Water and it sets up very well.
You know, I've watched this three or four times. I love watching the work you produce. It also reminds me of something. It annoys my wife, that every store we go into, every dollar store, Every craft store, pet store... If it has a craft/aquarium/floral area, I make a b-line to scan for any plant that might be useful in the scale in which we work. It's gone from a mild personality flaw to an almost cult like quest. [E-bay does not work as well, I find, because you can't really tell the scale, and because sometimes when you get something cheap enough, the moulding is so bad is't really likely to take less time to sculpt your own. And! Too many aquarium plants are just too alien for the given board theme, looking like water plants. You have to have them in your hand to know for sure.] I have the feeling that you might suffer from the same... drive, quirk... (illness?). Coffey3C
I've spent much time scanning that aisle. :) I agree that having it in hand can help with scale. Don't forget that when you look at them, individual leaves can be just as valuable as a clipped piece of the entire plant. For this set I took many individual leaves and combined them to make new plants. And combining bits from two different plants opens up more possibilities. Half my time in the aisle would be looking at individual parts of the plants and thinking about how I could work with them.
Unfortunately I don't produce them any longer. I still have the molds, but I can't see how I could possibly return to casting in the foreseeable future. Can hardly breathe as it is. ;)
Awesome. By the way I saw some perfect temple ruins pieces at the pet store of all places. If you Google image search for "aquarium jungle ruins" you'll see what I mean.

I agree, your use of variation and color makes your terrain much more interesting to look at. Not to mention, it looks absolutely gorgeous!

Blather on, we're listening!
Superb pieces, and yes, you have raised the bar once again ... brilliant!!!
Fantastic work Mike! I am loving the new base system. I can't wait for the blanks to be available. Hopefully, I can get a bunch in time for AdeptiCon.
Really lively and diverse looking tiles, inspirational!

Great Idea.

I haven't looked at what you charge, I just appreciate the workmanship as a fellow modeller. Whatever the prices, they're worth every penny. Oliver.

Awesome work buddy . I really love the density of this jungle a lot well done .

2024 and still referencing these videos. Still awesome 😎.
You should be pleased. These are some of the best I've seen.
That looks fantastic. Some great ideas here. Thanks for sharing.
It's Impossible to dislike terrain with dinosaur bones in it! awesome job!

Aratak711 My pleasure. :)
oooow man I just love this It looks so epic! Good inspiration for my desert Jungle table!
Glad to hear it was helpful. :)
What sorts of glue do you use to attach them to the bases?

+Byron Pocock Yeah, they were tricky to manipulate. :)
Are those palmtrees off off Alibaba? Or did you make them?
I bought all of the plants on the web or at Micheals. Then I tear them up and reassemble them in different ways. :)

Are you still making pieces? The website seems to be down. These pieces are absolutely amazing!
I don't make production pieces any longer. :(

Excellent Work
Where can I buy the removable disc base? Seems like a great thing to have on hand. Great video and great work!

They are nice and it works well.
With Lizard men just being released I can see these being a big seller.
Is this stuff for sale?

Nevermind, you answered that question later in the video.
Hola
GRACIAS
por el vídeo

El Gusto Es Mio. :)
Just ... the best.
Yeah I had to laugh at myself when you posted that. I don't know how I got it in my head that the zen master of terrain wouldn't know about this...
Bad Ass!
