I've interviewed a LOT of actors over the years. One of the most memorable being Seann William Scott (Stiffler) being insanely polite, friendly, mannered and I would even say an introvert. SUCH a big contrast with his character 🤣
@@lc4life369 I think his interview for 'Role Models' was actually my first ever interview. I remember how after Seann I talked to Paul Rudd (who was also in that movie) who jokingly told me about that one time where he wore his mom's dress to school 😂
American Reunion was the first film I saw by myself in a theater and after growing up with the first three, this movie definitely was. a great send off into adult life. A last hurrah for childhood.
Loved the journey. Was my generation so much love for the group. Oz is the best. So glad he always tried to find love his own way. True paladin. Need a second reunion.
I graduated in 99 when the original came out and got married pretty quick and had kids so all of kind of came out right as I was going through each stage and it was amazing how they were able to keep all the great humor while never skipping a beat with the emotional friendship and coming of age moments. All 4 were really special
I always said that some films should've been sitcoms. They have the perfect setting. American Pie is definitely one of those, "the 40 year old virgin" also.
actually the spin offs are pretty good and still very funny and fun time to watch, people did watch them and did have fun watching them. i think they are worth it, would love to see you 2 react to them i think many others would as well.
The Spin Offs are worth watching if you guys choose to do so, Band Camp is fairly worthy as it actually follows Stifler's younger brother from the first two movies (although a different actor of course) and each of them features Eugene Levy minus the recent Girls Rules one.
the only reason Girls Rules had problems is because it was a generation thing...the four girls were trying to be like the new gen version but the film was made in 2020 and they struggled to allow a lot of pornogrpahic elements on barely legal teens. that gen just wasn't as accepting of it; they had to find ways to make it appealing but keep the clothes on.
I actually watched all of the American Pie movie series, including "Band Camp", "The Naked Mile", "Beta House", "The Book of Love", "Girls Rulez". I dont care if the movies that aren't good enough. I love all of them
I grew up with these movies as a kid and into my teens. When Reunion came out, it was just a perfect finale for me. The cinema was on fire with this of all people the same age who grew up in the 90s and saw the originals, it was a special experience.
This movie reminds me of why you love your boys because they'll always have your back and getting drunk and doing stupid shit with them will be memories that last forever
So Mrs. Levenstein must have passed away in 2009 (the year Book Of Love was released), or shortly after the events of that film. However, Jim's mother is seen in the home video Noah is watching when he mentions her passing, so she is listed in the credits
There's a movie called Roadtrip which came out not long after the first American Pie and Stiffler is in it where he's at college. It's not related to the franchise but he pretty much plays the Stiffler part. Very much worth a watch. Some call it a Stiffler side story on the college he went to. Has lots of American Pie vibes.
This was the first American pie I ever saw because I was 13 when it released my mom wasn’t gonna let me see it but my aunt got preview tickets to see if early so my mom let me go she said she wasn’t gonna pay for me to see it but since it was free I was able to go it’s now very nostalgic for me
The movie series almost was parallel to my life. Freshman year of high school, first movie. Middle of high school, part 2. I got married, third one. My high school reunion came up, this one. They should now have stifler’s mom gets married to Jim’s dad and they become brothers. American Family.
you would know they had a kid if you watched the spin offs; here is the chronological timeline: American Pie American Pie 2 American Pie 3: The Wedding AP: Band Camp AP: The Naked Mile AP: Beta House AP: The Book of Love American Reunion (so basically a lot happened between the wedding and reunion) AP: Girl's Rules
@@RedRoseSeptember22 every AP film has a member of the Stifler Family and all but one of them has Jim's dad (Girl's Rules is the one exception, for some reason Jim's dad wasn't in that). All of the films not only have their own story and plot but also have at least one moment where they interconnect with the main trilogy, for example...in Band Camp it is expalined that Steve Stifler's brother, Matt, is trying to make his own legacy and his connection to Steve is indicated during that time, also we see Sherman and we see Jim's dad at the Band Camp and he mentions how Jim and Michelle are doing. the spin off's are BARELY spin offs really...because they all interconnect and there is an obvious timeline order to them.
Love the Dad. If you haven't watched Schitt's Creek yet it's a must watch. Perfect cast with a heart of gold, with insanely funny situations and dialogue.
Stiffler punching dron is one of my favourite moments in the film. He might be annoying to the guys, but he really does care about them, even Finch. He’s that one friend who would always stick up or be there for you
I started watching your channel during the dark years and you had maybe 20k subscribers if I remember and I subbed right away but remember thinking these guys are just literally a few bromantic weird dudes that grew on me. I mean I was watching when it was full screen, no labels across the screen with the movie name, no circles around you and chris’s faces, OG right here. Point of this rant is to AKA the guy my mom has never mentioned to stop scolding me Ive been subbed for years 😂📽️🎞️
Even tho you don't know me... you two feel like a friend of mine. That's why I love to visit you guys and watch movies with ya! I love it! Great reaction as always.. and I just knew.. if you gave all 4 movies a chance... You would LOVE them as a whole!! I am literally the same age as all of these actors/characters.. I am class of 99.. just like them! I say that to say this.. These 4 movies are my exact time line in life.. same chapters at the same time (As of movie releases) and it was soooo crazy to see them grow up with me in the exact same way! Basically.. these characters really do feel like friends of mine.. cause I grew up with them in a way! I just LOVE this series!! Thx for watching them.. and letting me enjoy watching your enjoyment.. it was sooo much fun!
My favorite part of this movie is that they go and get Stifler and finally embracing him as "their dick" and he's actually with them the next morning at that cafe or whatever it is for the first time in the franchise. That to me symbolizes that he's finally actually one of the guys. Before this their friendship was quite onesided with Stifler believing they were closer friends than they actually were but after this movie he is finally embraced and welcomed to be one of the guys. Finally his friendship with them isnt onesided.
What I love in this series, and I would say the same about Fast Times at Ridgemont high is every character is relatable to someone you knew, or perhaps even yourself. In most ways I would say I was the male version of Michelle. I was a band geek and probably more than once said "this one time at band camp".
If I could rank these movies, it would go something like this: 4. Wedding 3. AP 2 2. AP 1 1. Reunion. In my opinion, Reunion is the best. I love the nostalgia and the intense emotions felt throughout. It's the film that you can really relate to a lot of the characters.
Like y'all said, a lot of stuff in this one that people will relate too. Especially the part about how fast life can go by after High School. Almost a decade out of High School personally and half of my friends are already married with a kid or two. There's another movie that gave me a similar feeling to this one that's also based around a High School reunion called 10 Years stars Channing Tatum, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaze, and Rosario Dawson. Might be something to check out in the future.
I seen all of them including the spin offs and I like how if you seen the spin offs you know Jim's dad has been seeing all the different generations growing up specifically the stiffler family but all the same, Jim's dad has been helping all sorts of young people lol
This is the 8th installment sequel I 💕 believe me this one is delivered come home film 📽️🍿 especially the very end when they're in the reunion prom high School Steve Stifler and 🥵🍑🫦 Rachel Finch.
Growing up around the same time these movies came out, it was such a nostalgic feeling watching the reunion in the cinema
Agreed. It seemed to get a lukewarm reception, but for people who grew up on the first three it really hits the sweet spot.
This was a great franchise!
Definitely the quintessential raunchy comedy.
I've interviewed a LOT of actors over the years. One of the most memorable being Seann William Scott (Stiffler) being insanely polite, friendly, mannered and I would even say an introvert. SUCH a big contrast with his character 🤣

I can't believe you didn't include the ending scene of Stifler's mom and Jim's dad in the movie theater! That was priceless 😆
yup Stiffler Mom
I love Eugene Levy's "your chest is very meaty" line in the outtake for that scene.
Rebecca DeMornay as Finch's mom priceless.

American Pie is awesome... There's Band Camp, The Naked Mile, Beta House and The Book Of Love. Each with their own Stiffmeisters, if you're interested

Reunion and Pie 2 are my favs. Seen Reunion so many times over the past decade…we can only hope they can come back for a 5 with a killer story.
Same!
Well than they better move fast. The clock is ticking on their age.
I always said that some films should've been sitcoms. They have the perfect setting.
American Pie is definitely one of those, "the 40 year old virgin" also.
American anniversary! It could be stifler planning Jim’s wedding anniversary party or something like that
I cant believe this movie is 12 years old now...felt like yesterday i saw this!
American Pie Band Camp and the Naked Mile are actually good spin offs. You guys would like them.
I agree. They really need to watch those.
They were actually quite fun. I would recommend a watch

Only bad one is band camp imo
@BadDubII Your opinion is bullshit.
Seen this one in theaters, this great due to hearing the crowd laughing at all the great jokes.
I loved how everything came full circle in this movie with Finch's mom, Oz and Heather reuniting, etc.
Shout out to Brandon!!
Thank you for actually watching all of them. The majority of channels that react to American Pie usually stop after the second one 😢
I love how after 4 movies Seann William Scott/Stifler and Jennifer Coolidge/Stiflers mom have never shared a single scene together
Band Camp, Naked Mile and even Beta House are all worth watching
The Spin Offs are worth watching if you guys choose to do so, Band Camp is fairly worthy as it actually follows Stifler's younger brother from the first two movies (although a different actor of course) and each of them features Eugene Levy minus the recent Girls Rules one.
Band camp is the worst one

Man, Noah's like the 'C-3PO and R2-D2' of American Pie. He's on EVERYTHING 😄

I went to see Reunion in the theaters with a group of my friends. After all of theses years it's still one of my favorite theater experiences.
wonder if they will ever do a 5th film.
I forgot how funny this last one was. I had only watched it once before this. Great series!! Great reaction!

That should be a spinoff "American Pie: Stiffler Than Ever"
Noooo you skipped the end scene with Jim's Dad and Stifler's Mom :( still a great movie though lol. I heard they might do a 5th movie but who knows.
I can assume spin off sequels in the near future? Band camp, the naked mile, the book of love, girls rule? 👍

Finch's mom, the actress Rebecca DeMornay I remembered her work in 1992's 🎥 The Hand that Rocks the Cradle 🎞
Band Camp was pretty decent surprisingly.
My old hockey coaches would call me finch; that’s how I found these movies at a very young age
I rewatch all the American pie movies every summer fantastic movies all four of them even three of the spinoff
