I owned a lot of cutlass's when I was younger, from 1968 thru 1977 ,I loved all of them, truly a awesome car thanks for the video it brought a lot of memories back to me and put a smile on my face 😎👍❤️
I have a 71 Cutlass and I have a 3.55 /1 posi that I plan to install in it. I bought an 87 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham at an estate auction that Came new with an Oldsmobile 307 V8 with a 4 barrel, It has a 200 R4 in it that is heavy duty to move this big battleship! It's a low mileage car and it's been babied so it's a really good transmission for my Cutlass with that rear end!
@@wktomch it's probably the easiest automatic to automatic swap you can do. If you have a TH350 and want overdrive, a 200-4R is a direct swap in, all you need to do is move the crossmember back to the TH400 position and switch the cooler lines at the transmission. You don't even need to cut the driveshaft because the 350 and the 200 are the same size, basically. If you have a TH400 I think you can direct swap a 700R4. The other thing you'll need is a Bowtie Overdrives TV Made EZ kit. They make one for every carburetor and EFI system you can think of and it's basically set it and forget it. Super easy to install and super easy to set up, it definitely saves a lot of time and headaches in the long run.
I love Oldsmobile cars. This is an exceptional example but I'm a dyed in the wool stick shift guy. Not being critical because of the condition but really the 67 400 is a better performance base. But again it's not a race car. Good job sir, thanks for posting.
Another red interior, This time with a red body! and of course a wood rimmed steering wheel and console shift automatic like the black convertible! They would look so good next to each other! This is a beautiful car too!
I'm just getting to your channel. I really like 66, 67 Cutlass, 442.

Great car! I have seen the S on the gear shit indicator referred to as Super or Super Range in Olds lit.
I dropped a 200r4 in my 67 and dumped the 350 turbo. What a difference. SHe has snap now and great on the highway :)
Best decision I ever made!

Island
67" Cutlass Supreme maybe original 442 package. 442 was not a vin till 68"
66 and 67 car will have a 5V denoted on the cowl tag if they came from the factory with the 442 option. This one definitely has the 5V.
Thanks Bobby 😎👍
