Tangier IS the best city in Morocco. I am a U.S. born citizen, with three properties in Morocco. Two in Tangier and one in Esssouira, two rentals and one to live (when I want to be in the Mediterranean). The one in Tangier is my favorite; Manageable and clean. --- No, you are not in the Medina anymore at the need of the video, you are in Mershan (Or Marshan or Merçhane). It is the most desirable upper-middle class neighbourhood in Tangier.

Just to give a clear idea about western Sahara. The conflict is rather between Morocco and algeria which has given since 1975 unlimited support to some mercenaries. A support of Billions of dollars since then. The reason is that Algeria was a full creation of France. It has never existed before the french occupation in 1830. France has first occupied the historical algiers of which surface did not exceed 350 thousands square mt. Then France occupied vast territories of Morocco and even some territoried of Tunisia and Lybia. In other words the western half of what is called now Algeria was Moroccan. If you travel to Tlemcen city in Algeria you will realise that all historical monuments are Moroccan. After independance of Algeria the militiary putschits in this country were aware that Morocco will claim his rights of his huge territories stolen by France by force. They were communists and very influenced by the stalinian political propaganda to rule. They made up a war against Morocco in 1963. They made a hostile campaign against Morocco since then until now. In 1975 while Morocco negociated the liberation of his western sahara with Spain Algeria and Lybia under Kadaffi already met some communist moroccan students who were against capitalism and monarchy. First it was Kadaffi who financed these students to organize gang wars in western Sahara and to collect every mercenary in the vast desert of north Africa. Then Kadaffi stopped the financing and gave the rein to the military power of Algeria to continue hostlities against Morocco . Algeria wanted and still wants to weaken Morocco and exhaust him so that he can never demand his eastern sahara and his occupied eastern cities in Algeria.

Those so called sahraoui are not even 1000 people living in Algeria🇩🇿🚮 Tindouf and all of them are either algerians or Mauritanians ( previously Moroccan territory, stolen from us during the spanish/ franch colonization.
Now, an interesting question is why France colonized us ?? It's because we helped Algeria🇩🇿🚮 fight the franch colonization of their land which lasted for 300 years I think.
