Interesting fact…. That scene of the flash back was filmed for the episode last season. Originally was gonna be between the gas station scene and her death scene. They last minute pulled it from Season 5 episode and used it later here
Since you guys are nearing the end, and considering how much your into it, may I recommend two thing to watch or even react to afterwards? 1. The James Gandolfini Tribute to a Friend; 34 minute documentary that can be found right here on TH-cam that goes into the man on and off screen, incredibly touching and features great behind the scenes and cast tributes 2. The just newly released HBO David Chase 2 part documentary “Wise Guy” a fantastic look at how David Chase came to and created the show from the man himself, and features some amazing behind the scenes stuff including auditions and breakdowns of certain charters fates. It’s great.
In the bathroom scene, Tony sarcastically makes the comment, "You're doin' a heckuva job, Brownie." That was in reference to then President Bush making that comment when foolishly praising the federal emergency director Michael Brown for his response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Everyone else felt that Brown, a political appointee, was totally incompetent in handling it.
The best thing to do when the time is going slow at work is to keep your head down and work work work. Don’t look at the time and you’ll be surprised how quick it goes if you just keep your self busy.
Tony is the middle child. Not the youngest. Their sister Barb is the youngest and of course Janice is the eldest, but you're correct in the sense that like most cultures, the parents inevitably end up treating the eldest son like the eldest child even if there's an older sister. (this is actually my situation. My brother (older than me) is the second child after my sister by about 3 years, and yet everyone in the family - including us kids - always treated him as the eldest. Even my sister would often defer to him in a lot of situations where you'd expect the eldest child (regardless of gender) to be the one leading. This,......despite my parents frequent and often very vociferous ("WE TREAT ALL OUR CHILDREN EQUALLY!!!!") denials that they were treating us all like this. part of it is also obviously also society's conditioning and some cultural cues (like friends of the family often referring to our parents as the parents of (my brother's name) rather than parents of my sister)
Ummm... Janice is the oldest, then Tony, then Barb. The episode where Livia threatened to stabe Tony in the eye, Barb was the baby crying in the background. The episode where Johnny took Janice to the fair as a cover to do business, Tony was saying how Janice was older. Janice also dated Ritchie which was stated that they were the same age, and Ritchie was older than Tony.
Please please I beg you guys to react “Kingdom of Heaven” 2005. I know you love medieval history especially the crusader history, your mom will definitely enjoy the movie!
I highly recommend THE PENGUIN series on HBO, a spinoff based on the Robert Pattinson BATMAN movie. It had similar motifs and backgrounds for the characters.
2:30 This scene with Christopher kinda pissed me off especially with him badmouthing about Adriana. I never forgave him or the feds for getting Adriana killed. The look on Nick’s face says it all after what Christopher said 2:34. And I’m just like “Hello! You’re the one who ran to Tony and got her killed you dumb fuck!” That scene alone made me not like Christopher anymore.
@@wangflop Fair point, however to be.even more fair Adriana shares her part of the blame in that - especially for still staying with him. The first time a boyfriend or husband or significant other lays a hand on you or hits you should be the last and only time they get the chance to do that. Sounds harsh, but lots of women would be alive today if they had left their (physically) abusive boyfriends/husbands, and lots more are because they did. It never stops with just that first one punch.

Even Paulie wouldn’t be that stupid to beat up a priest.

I don't know if this is the right place but PLEASE react to Donnie Brasco. 🙏

That does look interesting! I'll just be watching it on my own, since it's not really Mom's thing. I definitely picked up on the Sopranos inspiration.
Family it’s what it’s all about

Not the countless of times he beat up Adriana? Or when he got so high he accidentally killed her dog?

Nick does the same thing Tony does on his session with Melfi in “that” episode
We’ve seen Kelly before but at 2:35 be careful with that
You were wrong for that song but I did laugh 31:30
