    I know it works well but with the lack of grip/recoil control the slo-mo early on didn’t show much reduction.

      My walther ppq with talon grips and apex flat trigger shoots very fast. I don't think it would make that much of a difference

      @that1993mustang 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s simply because they lack muzzle control while firing fast. I have one on my 19x and on video stays completely flat with the ramjet+afterburner. It’s on my channel as a short

    I was pleasantly surprised with how well this works. It definitely reduces felt recoil. You for sure notice when you’re running bill drills. I have one for my 19x and have 1000 plus rounds through it with no stoppages.

    I got one and used it at the range twice, in a 2 day class "tactical" style class and in Jedi's Modern Samurai Project's 3 day class, and in a USPSA match, and I can't really tell if there is less recoil. I'm sure there is some, but 40% I can't say I felt that. I'm sure there is some reduction in recoil, just because of, well, science, haha, but for $400, I would not get it again. Also, I had a lot of reliability problems that I never had before, so I had to buy the recoils spring set for an extra $100.
    My final advice is, if you are super recoil sensitive, and have $500 bucks that you don't need, get it. If you just want to shoot better, I suggest buying ammo and taking a class with a great instructor that you have researched and vetted.

      This Radian device looks cool but at the same time gimmicky. I agree with your notion, if you have deep enough pockets to splurge $500 away then by all means. If you want to learn how to shoot your weapon "better" then it would be wiser to invest that money into more ammo and training, now that's money well spent......Lets keep in mind, long before there were things like laser sights, night sights, red dot sights and yes even compensators, expert shooters were hitting bullseye(s) with modestly tuned firearms and iron sights.....With that being said, if this device were under $200, I would be tempted to try one out.

    • @jerdog333

      @@es9415 Yea, I ran it in a few more classes and matches and I'm selling it. I can't even feel the difference with it or without it. And I can't CCW it because I don't trust it. I'll sell it and buy some ammo.

      @@jerdog333I have a Walther PPQ with talen grips and an apex flat trigger. It is also the most flippy gun I have but it is super accurate and super fast. The radiant ramjet may give me faster split times but only if my skills were on par with workd class shooters. I have a p320 spectra that has a built in comp yeah a little flatter but not by much.
      My everyday carry is gen 5 glock 20. It's felt recoil is softer than a 9mm and more accurate not to mention Shoots flatter and has much more stopping power than 9mm, 40 etc. I have plenty of 9mm pistols no need gor me to dump $400 just for a dumb barell and comp

    • @rodralig
      @rodralig 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed! Most shooting deficiencies is a software problem rather than hardware. People who suck at shooting and have some $$$ to spend will most likely get this - they will stick suck!
      I was at a 2-day tactical/defensive class. One of the assistant instructors/support staff had a Radian and was raving about it... He still cannot outshoot me, in my near stock Glock 17 Gen 3 (only changes were sights and grip tape)... Figures!

    I gave away a g19 that I had a ton of money in. I could never shoot that gun well. I moved on to to CZ’s and love them. Then got some other fun guns. To the point, I recently shot a g45 with all of the goodies including this comp barrel set up. Wow! It will be my next gun. Groups were better than I can shoot and it was a lot of fun. Note. The comp gets your gun dirty quickly. If you are shooting a few hundred rounds at the range bring some clip.

    • @modernwarriorsut
      @modernwarriorsut  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In the gun we were shooting we were running the standard springs from glock. As for a carry option yes, it would be useful. It may be a tad large for some people, but it definitely makes the gun more easy to shoot

      @@modernwarriorsutsome reported it would misfeed with 115gr but 124 was fine. Getting their rsa with a 13lb spring should take care of that but the stock trigger sucks. The overwatch precision is good but then spending close to $1200 for a g19x

  • @F15ElectricEagle

    My only complaint about the Aterburner and Ramjet system is it causes stove-piping when used in my 3rd Gen G-19 with standard pressure 115 grain ammo. After switching the standard 17 lb. recoil spring in my G-19 to a lighter 14 lb. spring, the stove-piping issue went away.
