I’m a retired shipwright and any wood I have ever seen off and old boat as full of nails, nail holes, bolts and bolt holes. It was also rotten and stinky and there is no way I would run it through anything I had with a blade in it. That looks like it was from an old barn.

I notice that alot of projects on this channel... Particularly the sleeper ties ones and this one all have termites coming out of the wood as he's cutting it... Will that cause and issue down the road?

Nice job . The only thing I would mention is the wood glue . I’ve been working with wood for almost 30 years . If it’s done properly the glue joint will not come apart . The way he glued things together it will not last . The wood glue needs to be evenly coated on both surfaces in order to adhere properly. Otherwise your just wasting your time . He did a nice job overall but I question it holding up long term . Glue only works as well as it’s applied

Well, cutting the table top ends, flush (or straight), pretty much ruined the entire project. And yes, I can say ruin because we saw what the top looked like *BEFORE* he chopped the ends off and made them straight. Or, are you going to sit here and tell me that it would not look better with the ends left natural? C'Mon man. The dude needs honest feedback so he doesn't make the same stupid mistake twice.

Learn to adjust your bandsaw before you end up loosing a hand, mate. If the blade snaps with that much of it exposed it can get thrown out of the saw.
