Cool video, an erinys is a devil though, not a demon, could be a really misleading detail seeing as the whole blood war situation between devils and demons :)

@GM Steelhaven pathfinder is practically 3rd edition dnd with custom rules it only slightly different even if the blood war wasn’t what it would be called here it would be the exact same event just named differently
@@Scarface_saiyan There is no real analogy to the Blood War in Golarion and it's an intentional choice by the setting's creator, James Jacobs: "On top of that, I've always disliked the Blood War. It shifts fiends away from being monsters that prey upon mortals into monsters who are more interested in fighting each other. Fiends of different alignments don't necessarily get along in the Great Beyond, but neither do they do much distracting of each other. Leaving demons and devils and everything in between able to focus their full attention on us poor mortals."
@@pervognsen_bitwise in DnD the Blood War is the reason neither Devil's nor Demons haven't just completely taken over, does Pathfinder have an excuse for them not having already over run the world?

There are a few, but s good chunk have stopped making videos. I think Tower of Times is the only ongoing Pathfinder lore channel besides this one
While Asmodeus does have a Satan vibe, I´d argue that there are some very important differences.
The biblical satan is a lot more chaotic than Asmodeus, and does not give that much importance to rule of law.
I´d argue that Asmodeus and Hell are a mix between biblical Hell, and 1984, with Asmodeus taking the role of Big Brother.
Another enemy of Asmodeus you miss was Cayden Cailean, he is the antithesis of Asmodeus, desiring freedom for all while Asmodeus wants to subjugate them.
Weirdly enough, the Inner Sea Gods Asmodeus entry has nothing about Cayden in it, and despite me going between the Inner sea gods and the Gods and Magic books, I not only forgot Cayden in it, He also has Mother Spider listed as an enemy.

I would love to do videos covering all the factions, I just haven't really figured out a good format for them just yet. But yes, the pathfinders are on my topic chart lol
With regards to canonicity, I think there was talk about the Windsong Testaments and other in-world sources being contradictory to reflect everyone trying to figuring out theogony, but don't quote me on that.
I knew it was by paizo and James Jacob's, but I wasn't sure if that's still intended cannon or not so I figured to be safe I'd mention it!
If anyone has some details on how Asmodeus is worshipped in secrecy by small groups, I would be interested. I’m having a hard time figuring out how to represent a small cult of Asmodeus worshippers inside a larger settlement. I intend to offer small clues for my PCs who are eventually supposed to figure out what’s going on, but without knowing more than “making deals that are clever” about the ways Asmodeus is worshipped it’s hard to drop clues that would be meaningful to the party.
Well, that's the good thing about Pathfinder. As a rule, it's your gameworld. So, in your world, how does Asmodeus get worshiped?
With what we know of him so far, he doesn't generally care about Mortals all that much, but he does want to have the world in a state of Order, with strong being subservient to the weak.
Asmodeus allows blood Sacrifices, so perhaps the first signs are the discarded bodies of Bulls, Goats, Lions or Snakes.
Later on, you find one of the Asmodeus Holy texts, or perhaps scarps of half written contracts between a party and some devils for power to take control of the city.
You could find unholy symbols, Ruby blades and red garments as more clues. Perhaps multiple members of the Settlement Guard are seen with more devilish features, or items and it is revealed they've taken charge of many of the guard positions etc. There's alot of ways to do it, You could take any devil worship type evidence from real life and flavor it to be Asmodeus to be honest.

So what's his view on treachery I read somewhere that James Jacob's thought dnd devils constant backstabbing and infighting amongst there kind to be to chaotic for devils
So pathfinder devils appear to serve their superiors faithfully they may compete with each other but don't undermine each other
So what if someone in his church wants to overthrow his superior who'd he go the route of if your to stupid to see the knife at your back you deserve to be betrayed
Or would he decide that a house divided against itself will not stand and such treachery is an anathema to the order he wishes to create and by breaking and oath of loyalty to your master you have betrayed him
Or would he go a middle route and say treachery is okay but you have to do it the right way simply murdering your boss is to crude and simple something a demon would do you should employ more skillful and subtle methods and if you can find a loophole in your oath of loyalty betraying your boss is fine
I think it would be closest to the last option. They are totally willing to bypass each other, but usually do it via political maneuvering or back alley deals rather than straight murder lol for example, the iconic villian Lazzero Dalvera was a priest of Abadar, but was actually following Asmodeus. Instead of killing his rival, he falsified records to get her imprisoned, so he used law and order to get her out of the picture.

surely killing his brother was breaking his word..so he contradicts himself.
I mean, maybe he never said, hey I won't kill you? Or more seriously, maybe he hates the fact that he betrayed his brother and that's why he's now so strict about not breaking your word? He regrets the open trickery he performed so he forces himself to stick to his word? Who knows!

just take a look at the boulders gate game it's supposed to be based in the sword coast and the only straight yt male in that game is an enemy
@@docop8926 well baulders gate and DND are wizards of the coast, pathfinder is by paizo a different company.
As for white male gods you've got Caydean and abadar, both white men.
