If Robert Smith and Trent Reznor do it, it's fine. When Billy has different members, it's a problem. Jeff Shroeder has been in the band 16 years, he's earned the right to be a Pumpkin.
sounds better than the only other live performance i've seen of this... but lacks the spunk of the original line up in their youth. still super tight thanks for uploading
@420Honey What a snob. They're still a monumental and and influential band. This is a demo song originally done some 25 years ago played at a backstage event on what was likely equipment set up on the fly for fans/press. You can't exactly expect it to be a masterpiece. People like you are exactly why Corgan won't play any of the very old stuff even though as a fan I think most of it has merit and I still want to hear it played live even if it wasn't his best writing. He was probably a teenager still living at home when he wrote that song. Cut them some slack.
chuck, please do not delete comments you don't agree with. just let nature take it's course. you have to admit that this is not the smashing pumpkins! the scabbing pumpkins maybe!
One of my favorite songs ever written
Just watched the version from 88. Love this tune.
Probably the most beautiful version of There It Goes I've heard. Thanks for sharing.
Hes only rockstar who can pull off a pink sweater and cape
Somehow I’ve never seen this. I love this song so much.
For those who doesn't know that song is from a demo recorded in 1988.
Actually their first song recorded in the studio according to Billy
his sense of humor is great
Smashing Pumpkins at this point is just the Billy Corgan experience

Love how they did sort of a new take on this.

If you ever get the chance...I highly recommend it. I think they'll be doing it once in a while now.
fred21679 I haven't deleted any comments. I haven't even looked at this in over a year.
There he goes playing with my intro again
They did There It Goes first, then they did Plume and Mayonnaise.
damn her bass tone is killer! up there with Melissa for best SP bass tone
What are the names of the first two songs?
2:59
That black dude in back was into it
Is the tuning wrong?

I think this song is amazing!!
I miss the original group. I loved D'Arcy. Wasn't very Rock'n'Roll of Billy to fire her because of a drug relapse.
She was given a 2nd chance, and refused to meet up to even talk. Obviously her drug relapse is still a problem 20+ years later.
This would have been cool on Adore.
Vidéo de mauvaise qualité. Mieux, quand M. Corgan était jeune
Original, much better!!!

Jesus....even by their standards thats rubbish......
He seems pissy.
That's usual Billy for ya.
