This is bar none the best iron fishing channel on the tube.. This guy is a straight up beast, hardest working mother f....er, never fails the viewers. Hi Nigel :) The bar you show at 30:50 could be an old stair rod for holding carpet in place possibly, and i first thought the electrical Lucy of oxford thing was a trip wire mine :D

I know that fishing out basic scrap gets a bit boring to some people but just think how much cleaner the rivers and canals are because of this hobby. Great shots from the drone too.

The narrow square bar with decorative end is part of a curtain rod. That bit slides into another bar and adjusts to the width. The part attached to the wall was decorative and was mounted on a hinge that would swing out and away from the window. Victorian in age.

Nice variety of finds this time around, Nigel! I think the ladle and the sad iron are my favorites.
The fire tools were interesting. I think the first shovel may have been for getting ash out of the fireplace/stove. The second one, with the shorter. handle, seems better balanced for use with coal.
As always, the drone footage is amazing. I love the old bridges, The modern concrete ones don't have the same character.
The river gods must be pleased with your efforts, since they keep presenting you with guns! 😁
