I was a nurse before I retired, and I'm worried about your breathing, have you had a medical physical lately ??? Its not normal to be so out of breath, I know that you're lifting heavy breath, do it, I'm 74yeayear s old now, and I'll tell your mother !!!! Love to watch all you guys, watching from Seattle, WA state up near Alaska USA, Cathy from Seattle.........
Hi Nigel - the bar shot is really fanstastic pull! Your dedication to this activity is rightly giving you some well-deserved historic finds. You reference your team mates as having their own channels, but can you occasionally list them if that's not too much hassle. Cheers from France.
I really like that table top, that would be worth restoring. The shears joke was great, thought it was funny that Aaron finds the shears and two razors. You guys are so hilarious, refreshing, had to subscribe and then spent hours watching your videos. What’s with England, Amsterdam etc and bike thieves that take no parts, just throw them in the water, is it a new game of hide and seek, LOL
You guys do a wonderful community service! Congradulations to all the teams! You should all receive more accolades from local councils! Hope you are keeping a running total of the weight of tons of rubbish you have pulled out over the years! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
You are the greatest bunch of magnet fishers, I love the dirty humour, I grew up with. In Canada your afraid to tell a joke in case you get arrested, getting ridiculous, after growing up with 2 English Grandfathers and Irish Grandmother. Great finds, the double ended vibrator was funny, is that why the police closed the bridge
A fantastic find the bar shot Thanks very much for your Videos nigel very entertaining And I'm sure very rewarding At the end of the day Keep up with your videos And all the hard work that Goes with it
Just wondering if anyone in the group tries to recycle old bikes or use them for spare parts? Once again Nigel....brillant find! You ARE the best!!! Lov from Kentucky!
I never heard of a cannonball shotbar before but when I saw it I realised I have the very same thing in my scrap pile. Thanks for the education and saving a very rare piece of history from the scrap yard !! I was seriously going to scrap it because I thought it wasn't worth keeping. Stay Safe & Keep Pulling !!
Cannonball bar shot used to cause damage to sails and riggings . Amazing find , a great piece of history . Wonder if it was actually fired ? That would cause some serious damage if it hit someone at speed.
Hi Nigel. That horse shoe looked about from a Morgan to a Clydesdale size. My dad's family had Morgan horses and had mentioned that the size was bigger than a normal horse hoof.
I would get the metal in that shot tested as it looks just like a dumb bell I have in my cupboard, I hope you are right though as that would be a find of finds. So why did you get a talking to by PC Plod ?.
Awkward moment watching this video in the same room as my mum all ya could hear was Nigel heavy breathing my mums face when she heard it . Can only imagine what she thought I was watching .
What was the story with the police? Why did they cordon off the bridge? Why did the fellow get into trouble with slap on wrist or was this British humour?
I personally do love everything you do And in one sense you're hoping To clean up canals and rivers remove rubbish touch chucked in or lost And obviously they're all dangerous there But the annoying thing to me is the council the police and the environmental people don't see that way cause they are thick It is now a big issue how much rubbish is being dumped into rivers and canals and creating bigger problems for the taxman who has supplied millions to get them cleaned up And you're doing it for free These are the reasons I have a lot of time for people like yourself Also you find a lot of things that are there for many years if not hundreds of years which is part of history And you do the right things by making it upsinable for museums I don't know what side of public which is a good thing I do hope you find something that's brilliant by Christmas If not have a good one Magnets why

It's like watching 'The Detectorists'. "What you got?"
"Ringpull, Fanta 1976."
I love seeing what y'all pull out of the canals!

They could make a real TV show out of this group. They work hard but they do it with a sense of humor
and comradeship. Go for folks .
You’re great!

The bar shot is from around the 1700 - 1800's?
Fantastic find.

Congratulations on the bar shot!
what did the plods close the bridge for n that scythe you found was actually a sickle
Awesome finds and video!
Further to the cannonball shot bar .... I came across one that sold for €1214 or about £1028 .... Very nice find !!!!
Never seen the cannon bar shot. It's a great find.
Bang bangs and boom booms always fun
Cheers from USA mates! 🍺🍺🍺
The Y shaped piece that you broke while banging on it, looked like one of two legs to an old singer sewing machine.
I know we’re you were to find the fencing sword in was in Oxford because I bin near there before
The government should praise and compensate you for cleaning out the canals.
I got a bit lost what was the issue with police bridge etc?
It's amazing what was lying in the canal again!
Is that the record for bicycles in one days outing? Looks like you all had fun again.
thanks for watching!
Why was the bridge closing?
An explosive device was pulled out of the water.
@@Northantsmagnetfishing why was it not shown on the video then, it would have been the best find of the video?
It wasn’t me who found it. It will appear on somebody else’s video as we don’t show each other’s finds. 👍🏻
Well I'm watching you tomorrow 😅
thank you!
I can't seem to find another example of bar shot shaped like that anywhere.
second😊😊
The "Bar shot" is fascinating. 18-19th. century ?
Maybe 17th C - English Civil Wars.
that cannon ball is the find of the year
Are you sure you're not in Amsterdam with all those bikes?? Hahaha
I would get the metal in that shot tested as it looks just like a dumb bell I have in my cupboard, I hope you are right though as that would be a find of finds. So why did you get a talking to by PC Plod ?.
Where are Dan and Shurly?
First for today 😊
That Zimmer frame you just need to push it, not having to lift it when walking
The tabletop looks like it belongs to the broken leg piece

What was the story with the police? Why did they cordon off the bridge? Why did the fellow get into trouble with slap on wrist or was this British humour?
Why do thieves go to the trouble of cutting the locks, and then they throw the bikes away?
It is a bit stupid isn’t it.
@@Northantsmagnetfishing oh, I was hoping someone knew why…
Its a bomb !!!!!
All the bikes u guy found u guys can open up a bike shop

I dont get it close the bridge? your too close to the bridge ,so you have to move on. Why? I dont under stand. M. Canada.
Someone found an explosive so the police were called and put a cordon around it meaning they had to move on
The worn down horse shoe, is like people who's shoes/ trainers are worn down on one side, it tells you how bad you are walking
How much of the stuff you pull up got there during ww2 when the nazie's were booming England?
You guys get paid to go out there and clean up these canals?
No we just do it for fun.
@@Northantsmagnetfishing okay thank you love watching you
