Decades you mean. Decades of oppression, torture, displacement. Yet will it change for the better after Assad fell. Its remains to be seen. To much countries involved that all going for a part of that land. One has to look at the bigger picture. Lots is orchestrated ahead, chaos spread.. the means to distract the public from whats really out played here. 😢
Syrien people paid a high price to get free. 14 years were extremely bloody. What a brave people, god protect them and give them all what they fought for.
My heart aches so bad that I don't know if I can bear it but the fallen have earned these tears and it would do them dishonor not to weep with them. All of them.
@@websitemartian "The future of Syria is very uncertain. For example, the General Commander Ahmed Al-Sharaa, known as Al-Joulani, was a member of Al-Qaeda and founded Jabhat Al-Nusra, and now he leads a new faction. we started young, expressing our opinions, but we faced a brutal force with all kind of weapons, while we're bare handed, and so we resisted and made it much bigger, our friends and family at that time 12-13 years ago, got punished for their thoughts of going against the goverment, and in prisons jailers said say assad is your only god and we'll let you free
And yet we humans often fall prey and vote for these psychopaths or worse, abstain from voting or just don't care - complicit to the worst evil that humans are capable of.
The HUMAN ATROCITIES you are witnessing in the year 2024 are unimaginable to me... why so much war after so much development of the human psychi... so SAD!
There should be another documentary about the horrendous things that Bashar's father the former president Hadez Al Assad did during his reign, because he created this regime and tortured and massacred Syrians for 30 years and then his son took over and continued what his daddy used to do. There's a massacre called Hama's massacre which happened in 1982. Syria's tragedy began way before 2011. Syrians been sufferring for the last 54 years from this criminal regime of Al Assad's family. Please shed lights about that because the vast majority of people especially in the west think that it all started in 2011 and Syrians were living happy and safely and that Bashar is the good guy and that he's fighting the imperialists and there's a conspiracy against him, but the truth is Syrians really for generations never knew what safety and justice mean and they"ve been killed, tortured, robbed and empresioned by the regime for half a century.
This country has faced so much turmoil and war over the past decade that younger generations have never known what lasting peace feels like.

And if gazas anything to go by and israilies annexing areas, theyre about to face worse.
I have no words other than Thank You.
Assad cannot be allowed to get away with this
Well Putin is protecting him
The israeli and american Regimes also get away with their war crimes.
I can’t even watch this. It’s hurts my heart that this happened by humans.
Those are what darwinians should call, evolved from apes, not us
Thank you for helping us understand why Syrians deserve to be free as all humans do ❤
After this document, I appreciate my country and hope that the world can change for justice and less war

48:56 Wow, it's incredible seeing her speak of the "defeat of the revolution," knowing that the Assad regime has now fallen.
My heart aches so bad that I don't know if I can bear it but the fallen have earned these tears and it would do them dishonor not to weep with them. All of them.
Help us we living in Damascus now

Thank you for raising awareness about the crimes of the Assad regime
The subtitles are not small enough. We can still use our bare eyes, no need for binoculars.
And we still hear people say why you started this revolution?!!

The folly of human leadership at play.

😢😢😢😢😢😢😢very sad. Innocent children and people lost their lives due to evil creatures and their supporters. Nkt. RIP
cruel 😣 thanks for the interesting video 👍 there are no documentaries on my channel without cruel episodes🙃
Selective journalism. Not even bothering to cover the established war crimes of its southeastern neighbour

Homs is so beautiful
Make a new video now for 2024 after the regime fall....
The new Lybia.
Hopefully not!!!!
Actually now after Israel destroyed almost all weaponry of the former Syrian Army, a Libya scenario became much more unlikely
How is it possible to say this documentary was released in 2022 while it is uploaded on Dec 16, 2024???
Hope assad is condemned in court at least
😢😢😢😢
it will never end…
Say a good word otherwise do not comment
All things end.
Now you're telling us ? 40 years later?
People need to stop blindly following religious or political figures.
this documentary looks like the Hunger Games, where Katniss led a rebel to fight the Capitol tyranny
Big task for ICCJ now! We demand for an expedite justice.
the massacre of gaza
obliterated and censor images render the documentary useless and of not value to the viewer
dear DW can you also make a documentary on gaza genocide supported with western aid and even fighters, can you dare it? come on you cant and you wont
One wonder why South African, Ireland and the likes never care to take this case to the ICC...
How about you take the case.
Turned it off as soon as I heard the allah Akbar shout
why?
Do you not believe in a god?
Allah akbar, literally means, god the greatest in english, its like saying, god is greater
Knowing of all evel and crualty was made with this shout make sance why soome peale react like this.
