I was leaving Disneyland with my oldest daughter when I noticed the winds whipping up around and getting much worse and then the next morning it was even worse and we had to drive through LA to get to LAX to catch our flight and not only did we see the devastation on the way to LAX but you can see all the thick smoke and you could smell it in an outlet and it was terrible. It was hard to breathe until we got inside the airport and then when we took off, we could see the fires from the sky which really gave us a huge area little view of how bad the destruction was, and it made me really sad to see it on fire like that I don’t remember ever in my life living in southern California seeing some thing like that. The earthquakes and I’m sure there were some fires but nothing of this magnitude it makes me sad I know hopes and prayers isn’t really gonna do much for something I don’t think praying hoping and praying is going to change anything. I think what’s happened to paint anything so I’m not gonna say that Aaron it’s just I’m trying to share that I share the footage of it, but my daughter recorded the video on their phone and it didn’t transfer well to post on social media I’m not sure why but seeing those images of something I’ll never forget it from the sky just makes me really sad and the fact that it’s not just it’s ripping through peoples homes and I don’t care how richer they are or how poor they are or people saying they can buy another house I think that’s terrible. It’s still there Home it was still her memories and the animals definitely didn’t deserve it and they’re being left behind or their families can’t get to them and it’s the whole thing is just very sad. I think we should really try to have compassion for others in this situation.

You seemed confused. There is no loss of wealth for the celebrities. The fires are a mere inconvenience for the celebrities in CA and the extremely wealthy. They aren’t feeling like they are losing security. They can evacuate with their millions to another home. I only feel bad for the normal people. The people with no fire insurance and no millions to fall back on, they are losing everything.

What she's saying goes beyond comparing rich to poor. It's a shift in perspective, the society we live in hangs by a thread. Our habits are not sustainable. We rely way too much on material things and in the competition mindset instead of working together as an earth family.

California voters needs to do a much better job in choosing better administrators. This is a problem that has been going on for a very long time in California. It is the responsibility of the voters to elect competent people and they are just not getting the connection between making bad choices and bad luck.
Also, some of those same rich people will just go out and continue to lobby our elected officials to prevent any change. Honestly, it looks good on them. I have zero sympathy to spare. When our wildfires were raging here in Canada, mostly they complained about the wildfire smoke and did little else. Combined with the recent threats to total our entire economy for literally no reason, as well as threats to our sovereignty, as far as I'm concerned Canada has no southern neighbour. A sad end to centures of allyship.
