I've watched this episode so many times I figured out three things. 1 If Church literally just waiting the whole time he could've saved them. 2 If Church had just gone and did nothing the first time he would've gone with them 3 The most recent Church was a liar, or a distantly far futuristic Church who went through an extreme amount of bullshit TWICE.
Actually, he's "Sister, Church's twin brother" in Caboose's mind. Right before he gets kicked out of Caboose's head, yellow Church comes up to him and tries to ask a question. Check it out.
"Hey everybody, what's up?" "I am so happy that you made it in time to die with me. We will get to be smithereens together!" Caboose is HILARIOUS true story.
The scene with church apologizing to Tex is so appropriate considering their actual real relationship. But him not knowing that he's Alpha makes it that much more interesting to see
Here's what all the Church should have really done: If one had any common sense, go to the Church that alright left(The day Captain Flowers "died") and tell him to do NOTHING. Don't get involved, don't talk, don't do ANYTHING with ANYONE! Just do NOTHING!
Man when church was first stuck in the past, ithought that was gunna be the last time we see him. But the story was so good, the way Church got back to his friends, was pure Genius! Man this series is awesome and original. This is how stories should be told!
@thydraga123 actually its their "designated driver" character they specifically made to drive the tank, they talk about it in one of their commentaries on one of the season DVD's
I think the "I'm you Dumbass" line in Life is strange: ep 5 might be a reference to this episode of red vs blue, it's said in pretty much the exact same tone of voice.
For someone as arrogant as Church, it must be hell to be in the presence of a million other arrogant Churches. He was probably the best character for this scene with a million duplicates. Besides Caboose maybe. That would have been interesting.
I am in marathon mode. So far, this story is so elaborate, that I am TOO amazed right now. ...i also may give credit to the drugs I have right now. LOL
Red vs Blue is actually a very well thought out, interesting story that revolves around Church who is *SPOILER* and that Captain Butch Flower, who is actually *SPOILER*, went with Church. And that the Freelancer saga is the prologue to The Blood Gulch saga. This is my third run through of this series.
@Ifyoukn3wIt It's Caboose's image of Churhc in the future, when Church enters his head later, he kills Caboose's image of him by mistake, and that image of him is teleported back to that time.
I think that the line that Church said before the bomb went off is my new all time favorite line lol Church:"What can I tell you dipshit for better of for worse I'm back".
This kinda reminds me of that one mission in TS3 genix- u genius where theres ALOT of Cortez's trying to crack the code to proceed through the mission lol.
Yeah I'm pretty good at understanding time jumping. Like that time when I had to explain the Deja Vu plot to my parents.... which will happen tomorrow at 8 PM.
I love how Church keeps worrying about getting killed, then talks about possessing someone as a ghost in the same sentence.
9:53 I love Church's dialogue here, it is a philosophy I try to live by.

why is this episode of rvb in the strangerhood playlist?
I thought I was the only one
Strangerhood?
"I wanna hear the long version but can you tell me in three parts?"
Classy touch, Roosterteeth.
“And oddly, Caboose is the only one that understands” sounds about right lol
"Then I teleported back, and just decided to kill everybody that I could see."
Lol
This plot was so well made. I was not expecting something so intense when I started watching this series.
definitely one of my favourite episodes the bit at the end was brilliant
I've watched enough Doctor Who to understand these time-loops
My knowledge of television has finally come to use.
ikr
I like Doctor Who, but they take massive liberties with time in the show. I have no clue what to class as cannon anymore.
Church number X: I am the guy that interrupts me and then confuses Tex.
Tex: I'm totally confused.
xD
To everyone who is wondering, the yellow guy is caboose's version of Grif from inside his mind.
Actually, he's "Sister, Church's twin brother" in Caboose's mind. Right before he gets kicked out of Caboose's head, yellow Church comes up to him and tries to ask a question. Check it out.
Messy Nessie Your right actually. I was confused by the armour colour. Caboose thought that Grif's armour was yellow as I seem to recall.
blazegunshark technically sister's name is also grif... because siblings have the same surname.
Boba Fett That is indeed true.
Boba Fett good call.
"Hey everybody, what's up?"
"I am so happy that you made it in time to die with me. We will get to be smithereens together!"
Caboose is HILARIOUS
true story.
I love Church's little bit of wisdom at the end. It's awsum because it's true.
I love Church's lesson.
Here's what I learned... DON'T FUCK WITH TIME TRAVEL
Too late... or early...
On fucking Netflix I watched red vs. Blue volume 3 and none of this ever happens
Why did you comment the same thing twice
i did?
Why is this in the strangerhood playlist?
The scene with church apologizing to Tex is so appropriate considering their actual real relationship. But him not knowing that he's Alpha makes it that much more interesting to see
Man i forgot how much i love this series, i can't wait for the alien quest thing!!! lololol!!
Why is this part of the Strangerhood Playlist??
Christepher Johnson Nope. It's an actual episode of RvB
Here's what all the Church should have really done: If one had any common sense, go to the Church that alright left(The day Captain Flowers "died") and tell him to do NOTHING. Don't get involved, don't talk, don't do ANYTHING with ANYONE! Just do NOTHING!
God dang it!! You're right!!
Best thing witch talks about time travel!!! I love it
awwww shiela....don't give up, we'll be expecting u soon
i love the random yellow green church outta the group XD
This now by far my most favorite episode so far!!! XP
Man when church was first stuck in the past, ithought that was gunna be the last time we see him. But the story was so good, the way Church got back to his friends, was pure Genius! Man this series is awesome and original. This is how stories should be told!
This is more mind blowing than inception.
Best episode yet
This plot is GENIOUS
Red vs. Blue is awsome series
1:15 this actually managed to bring a tear to my eye.
yeah, that empty base after Shiela powers down...
Best episode up to this point
I want a special episode that has Church explaining everything that happened to the reds and the blues
Gotta love those paradoxes
this is the best episode
This is very easy to understand. How are people not getting it? I missed an episode and it STILL makes sense!
very good time travel writing!
you miss a LOT!!! i subbed for both.
Best episode ever
right back to marathon
9:20 that just blew my mind...
@thydraga123 actually its their "designated driver" character they specifically made to drive the tank, they talk about it in one of their commentaries on one of the season DVD's
this is strangely the bestest/most insane/suspense storyline ever.
When you watch this series for the 5th time all episode make perfect sense
I love that the only thing Caboose ever understands with any confidence is time travel
I love this show! !
i love when they superimpose stuff into the video
i watched this like 10 times. AND I FINALLY GET IT
It's amazing the differences in armour through halo 1,2,3 and graphical change in halo 4
This series of paradox episodes reminds me of an episode of an old cartoon i used to watch called Gargoyles.
When Zanatos uses a time paradox to build his vast fortune and uses this fortune to awaken the Gargoyles in the 1st place?
Renaldy Calixte Say what?
I remembered to take my earphones out this time
Thats the best kind of -ception!
I think the "I'm you Dumbass" line in Life is strange: ep 5 might be a reference to this episode of red vs blue, it's said in pretty

I want the long version can you tell me in three parts?
I love it when they break the fourth wall!!!
LOOOOL
I just nearly choked to death on some bread when Sarge said 'Everybody kiss your ass goodbye! Simmons you have the honor of kissing mine.'
I am in marathon mode. So far, this story is so elaborate, that I am TOO amazed right now. ...i also may give credit to the drugs I have right now. LOL
I love this episode
holy shit! that was mind blowing! now church is forward in time,
my head hurts from these last 3-4 episodes.....
Now i feel like caboose!
Best Time paradox ever..for real
Omg it's like watching inception all over again :C
I saw a yellow version of church when he screws up and is talking to the robot
That rope is just so realistic!
Went back and watched season 1
This is season 3
I'm tempted to watch 50-52 again just because tucker said he wanted the long version XD
thumbs up for RoosterTeeth's planning in advance XD
Red vs Blue is actually a very well thought out, interesting story that revolves around Church who is *SPOILER* and that Captain Butch Flower, who is actually *SPOILER*, went with Church. And that the Freelancer saga is the prologue to The Blood Gulch saga. This is my third run through of this series.
this episode is so confusing, but it's amazing how the guys who made this show thought up all of this beforehand
haha there is a yellow Church when he talks to Gary about how he messed up and they all start popping up
"I'm so happy that you made it in time to die with me. We will get to be smithereens together!"
I LMFAO when all the churches started having a conversation at 4:43 xD
@Ifyoukn3wIt It's Caboose's image of Churhc in the future, when Church enters his head later, he kills Caboose's image of him by mistake, and that image of him is teleported back to that time.
God damn, the ending was so clever when he said "Could you explain it to me in 3 parts though?"
best.....moral....ever
Tucker's last line was brilliant because it's actually true.
So in one of the tries, Church goes forward into time, and somehow manages to switch armor with Sister. It all makes perfect sense!
I've watched this through so many times, i still get confused.
"....I´m serious, like me on a horse!!!"
I love church XD
woooooooah that was life changing
I think that the line that Church said before the bomb went off is my new all time favorite line lol Church:"What can I tell you dipshit for better of for worse I'm back".
I'd like to here the long version. But could you tell me in 3 parts? lol
This kinda reminds me of that one mission in TS3 genix- u genius where theres ALOT of Cortez's trying to crack the code to proceed through the mission lol.
This is my favorite Halo 2 RvB episode
The rope thats holding Tex made me laugh so hard. XD
so church is like millions of years old now!!
this is the most confusing time paradox ever!
4:37 When the're appearing if you look to the left you can see a yellow version of Church
church is so smart haha! genius
The RoosterTeeth guys are masters of "the brick joke."
Doc has to be my favorite character :P
Yeah I'm pretty good at understanding time jumping. Like that time when I had to explain the Deja Vu plot to my parents.... which will happen tomorrow at 8 PM.
my head hurts
Did anyone else notice the ghost Church blending in with that mountain?
Ilike the way the old omally talked.
yep
5:15 Ghost Church standin in the back ground.
Best...Rope...EVER!!!
you will find out in a later episode
