I used to not care. I just went along with orders and hoped that everything would work out for me. But after all that's happened, you know what I've learned? It's not about hating the guy on the other side because someone told you to. I mean, you should hate someone because they're an asshole, a pervert, or a snob, or they're lazy, arrogant, an idiot, or a know-it-all. Those are reasons to dislike somebody. You don't hate a person because someone told you to, you have to learn to dispise people on a personal level. Not because they're red or they're blue, but because you see them everyday, and you can't stand them; because they're a complete and total fucking douchebag.
chruchs speech changed my life, it made me question why do we hate others
People have actually no idea how good of a speech that is. Think about it. How often have we hated people due to stereotypes, influential figures, and reasons except for really knowing the person? Way too often. That message changed me as well.
I decided to rewatch the series after I finished the 13th season and now I see so many little like full circle things like the last episode of the 10th season Tex says "you have no idea what kind of trouble you are in" this is why I love this series
I loved how the ending was just like episode 1 of season 1 with Simmons and Grif and the sniper rifle. It was a perfect ending.
Omega in Donut is strangely amusing.

And it all comes full circle. Ahh, roosterteeth, you've done it again. This, the season 8 finale, and the season 10 finale will always be my favorite episodes.

I love this series...loved these first 100 episodes the most, the other seasons are fantastic, but this just had that unique charm. And this is by far may favorite ending.
This is the first episode I ever saw. Saw episode 1 a few weeks ago and now on a marathon. So far the best episode.
I wish Sister was in more then just Season 5. I kind of feel like they introduced her for nothing, because she barely did anything this season, then just showed up once in season 6, then never seen again

It is sad, but as the seasons progress the story telling gets really damn good. And the humor is a good amount of reused jokes and elements from the first 5 seasons.

Oh man. I wasn't here to see it when it was new. But this was incredible. You could tell me this was the last episode and I wouldn't care. This was amazing. I loved it.
the best part in this entire episode is when Church says Caboose is his best friend :)
To those rewatching this:
At the end of the later seasons, after Church said "And I mean, hell... if you have to live the rest of your life in a memory... you might as well make it a good one", that's when I decided to rewatch Blood Gulch Chronicles, just wanted to re-live the memories a bit :)
Now I shall go forth, and watch the Reach seasons!

Notice that Tex says "goodbye" when the ship is taking off near the end at 13:40. Remind you of the phrase in later seasons, "don't say goodbye, I hate goodbyes"?

When I was a kid I watched through this and the series was originally supposed to end so everyone died, the songs weren't made yet, but now there are a two alternate endings one being the one I saw and one reserved for sponsors of rooster teeth
