1970 Dodge Super Bee 440 Six Pack in Plum Crazy Purple on My Car Story with Lou Costabile

- On "My Car Story" we're in Hampshire IL at the Cruisin' Into Summer Car Show and Fun Fair on 6-7-14.
We're looking at a 1970 Dodge Super Bee 440 Six Pack.
The car's Owner is Rich Ratkowski. He has the car since 1992. The car was originally his son's car, however his son could not afford the gas. So that put it away in the garage, and brought it back out in 2009 for a two year restoration and added a few modifications.

Thanks, Lou and all... does remind me if buying my first NEW car :& using many years ;* DODGE 70 CORONET 500/383, TURQUIOSE, RALLEY red Color/ black vinyl/ console etc.. Interestingly plenty of power: KIND OF FUN TO BUILD up and try to improve,.....etc.

Lou my buddy had a yellow super bee in the 70’s as a daily driver. We used to drive to construction sites together in it . Pretty good power for the day. His had a Hurst T shift. Had mud on the floor mats but it sure could burn rubber. We ran it on the freeway a good 140 150 KPH, in Canada eh! On the way to work!

Def some of the best muscle cars ever made. Chryslers killed it in the day. 1970 was without question the best year. Pinnacle of style, horsepower options, graphics and performance. Look at those hood scoops brandishing 440. Freakin menacing
