Ok Sam! Let me give you some props here. After watching your channel for about 4 months now, I must applaud you for taking the time to introduce the world to Arizona. You’re spending your off time, AND gas, And energy, to show viewers the good, the bad, and the ugly of this desert state. Your Jersey personality, combined with your now 7 years as an Arizona resident, gives us an” inside view” of what we can expect, whether we’re visiting or planning on a move there. THANK YOU for all that you do. You have MORE than helped me to make an intelligent decision.
You are welcome! Thanks for acknowledging that I am investing my time and money into these episodes. I enjoy creating them and reading comments like this keep me motivated to continue.
Awesome clip mate, I had a house in glendale for 5 years and appreciate seeing some of the local sites again through your clip. Keep up the great work.
Been to most of the places. Made a video of Cabellos years ago. Looks like the displays has grown. Also videos of Glendale Glitters. Been to The Zoo. Has moved up north
There is Another guy in your Area that does tours of Phoenix and the Surrounding areas, His Channel's name is Arizona Timeless Tourist, check him out, tell him I sent you there.
Just touched down in Phoenix today and I must say it’s a big change from Nebraska but I love it already I’m going exploring tomorrow and maybe see hole in a rock
Arizona Living The main reasons for me wanting to move are, also, high taxes and cold winters with snow and ice. I feel like I need a change of scenery. There’s only so many times you can go down the Jersey shore (I’ve been to every Jersey beach), and I have to drive far away to upstate New York (Adirondacks), Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine to get into some beautiful nature and outdoor recreation (hiking, camping, skiing - I love nature and outdoors). What intrigues me about Arizona is that nature is a lot more accessible (closer distance and good weather). From the Phoenix area, you could easily drive to Sedona or even the Grand Canyon (South Rim) - the North Rim is still pretty far. Navajo Nation, Monument Valley and the Four Corners region is another place I really want to see. Even driving to southern California is posible. There is so much more to do in Arizona compared to New Jersey that it’s not even close.
Good to see you back. Hope your break was good to you. Just a question, but what day of the week did you visit Glendale on? And is this Autumn/Winter weather for AZ? And last thing, as an idea, could you reveal to us your commute to/from work at different times of the year. I'd love to see what peak hour looks like but also think it might capture how locals deal with stress and the heat ;o)
Hi CS, I went at 8am this past Saturday. Yes, it's the fall season now. When colleges are in session, commuting time gets worse. It takes me over an hour to commute from Gilbert to central Phoenix.
Sam! Can you pretty please tell me about north mountain area in Phoenix? I haven’t seen any videos of the area and I really am thinking about choosing there to start out. Cabana at the pointe apartments and north mountain village apts are appealing but I have no way of knowing if it’s a safe area or not. Help!?
Hi Jessica, I'm not familiar with that area. As per Yelp, Cabana at the Pointe apartments is rated 4 out of 5 and N Mountain Village Apartments is rated 3.5 out of 5. I recommend you look up each address on www.CommunityCrimeMap.com to do a comparison. -Sam
WorldVentures is holding a convention in Glendale, AZ as we speak. They brought people from China to the convention and people who traveled thru China to get to the US. They knew about this, but didn't try to stop them. The rest of the attendees are from every state in the US and they've all been together, in the same room, for about 12 hours a day this entire weekend. Good luck when they return to their homes.
@@ArizonaLiving I've never been to a Bass Pro Shop either......lol. I have only seen videos and pictures of the one in Memphis TN. My friend in AR went there. Her and her husband are hunters. And they go fishing sometimes....

The more I watch your videos, the more I want to leave New Jersey and move to Arizona. Convincing my wife to go there is the hard part.
I love NJ. It'll always be home. Won't move back due to high property taxes and snow. AZ is growing on me.

Guess it's all about perspective.
Like going to farmers market also.
I’m actually moving out to Glendale from Miami on the 20th
Wow, that Cabela's is huge
Carol Spicker I’ve never seen one that big.
Yeah, the Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park is awesome.
I think u should do one of these on Tucson
Due to popular demand, Tucson is probably the next city I'll do a video on. No set date yet.
Love the Vlog🤣😂❤
Thanks Naomi! I think I'll do Tuscon next.
I had a VRBO condo in Glendale for three weeks in May 2018.

Nike Clearance Store at WESTGATE...bought a nice ass pair of zip Nike
Lake Pleasent is really close to Glendale. It looks like a nice place to boat, but I've never done it.
Is this a safe place to live?
Like anywhere else, there are good and bad areas. For the most part it’s safe.

The scooters are all over Tempe too from the college.

You may want to contact an Immigration Attorney so that they can guide you through the process. It likely won’t be inexpensive. Best of luck.
