4:36 Dude is misinformed, eletromagnetic motors are corded.🤦♂️ Both of these clippers have rotary motors which are actually stronger and more torque than typical corded electromagnetic AC motors. The reason why the Senior is "more powerful" is because it is equipped with a higher rpm motor and a non staggered cutting blade, compared to the Magic clip which has a staggered tooth cutting blade that is more suited for fading, not quick debulking. The advantage of corded electromagnetic clippers is fast oscillating blade speeds generated from AC sine waves, but has lower torque which is completely opposite of the what this guy is saying in regards to rotary vs electromagnetic motors.
Imma have to agree with u brotha the power of the seniors is just amazing. I started with the magic clip but then I got the senior, ill never be going back lol 💯
yo im new to barbering and got baybliss clippers I feel like they don't hit should I buy the senior or magic I want something that blends hella good with taperss and fades
Honestly bro … the only good thing about babyliss is their trimmer and shaver.. their clippers are fuckin shite Get yourself a magic clip or senior But I’d recommend you go get yourself a senior 🙏🏻🙏🏻you won’t look back brother
Very helpful tutorial, BTW my question is about my new magic clip, so I notice there is a movement on the upper blade(cutting blade) every time I turn it on or off the cutting blade is a little on the left side or right side, it doesn't stay in the center since my old clippers are not like that, do you think is that normal or should I change it?
Thank you bro! It really depends, if you feel it’s effecting your ability to fade definitely change it! I would also suggest tightening your clipper up, that might fix it.
Yo sidhu..im goanna buy my first clippers which should i buy as a beginner the magic or the seniors?im vert confused cuz most ppl sat thr magic are better for beginners bc of tye lightweight which should i buy as a beginner???
If I use a trimmer mostly to just trim my own stubble length beard, are these overkill? I use a Phillips one now without a guard for my face, but then toss on a guard to trim my sideburns etc.
Hey Mike! In my opinion its all up to you! Would I say it's overkill? I personally wouldn't because as T Money stated these are professional barber tools which you would see in a real professional barbershop setting, which could be good or bad (depending how you look at it.) If you have the funds I would definitely invest into the Magic Clips due to the durability, power, accessibility, etc! At the same time the Walmart ones are cheaper but they are more prone to breaking or stop working! So the Magic Clips are definitely a good investment, I hope I answered your question!
Sidhu, I have been using the corded Wahl Super Taper for about 4 years. After this video I will definitely buy the cordless Wahl Senior. Question; can I use the Whal Super Taper guard on the Wahl Senior?
Hey bro, glad to hear that! It’s definitely worth the investment! The wahl super taper guards are compatible with all wahl clippers. If you’re considering purchasing the seniores, I have an affiliate Amazon link for them in the description, it really helps me and the channel out! Cheers!
I need an answer. I cut my own hair using unbranded clippers (don’t make fun of me) and I like doing skin fades. Which one would you prefer for just self cutting only? I’d imagine the magics because they are lightweight but what can blend the line better?
Weight doesn't matter. Blending the line just requires skill/practice, and u need clippers that have the SIDE LEVER to help u fade. If u have clippers without the lever, it'll be extremely hard to fade hair.
I would suggest the magic clips for sure, especially for what you are hoping to use it for! I don’t think zero gapping would make it better or worse, usually barbers zero gap their clippers to help them take out bald lines

Which one takes out the line better when your fading? Thanks in advance
i havent tried seniors yet but i do know that the magic clips are really good for fading and they do take out lines very nicely and smoothly
I agree with CJ, the magic clips are great for fading.. but so are the seniors so you can't really go wrong :)
Imma have to agree with u brotha the power of the seniors is just amazing. I started with the magic clip but then I got the senior, ill never be going back lol 💯
Best for home purpose... magic clip or senior...please recommend one...
RIGHT!!! Paulo is tripping fr bro
@@udaykiranreddy8443 I don't know @MaseTheBarber 's answer, but for home use the magic clip should be more than enough
@@udaykiranreddy8443 yeah i agree w sidhu!👊🏽

Hey! If you’re new to barbering I strongly suggest the WAHL Magic Clips, they’re the best beginner friendly clipper to learn how to blend imo!
Honestly bro … the only good thing about babyliss is their trimmer and shaver.. their clippers are fuckin shite
Get yourself a magic clip or senior
But I’d recommend you go get yourself a senior 🙏🏻🙏🏻you won’t look back brother

thank you. if there is no more battery or battery too old to work, can it be used only with cord?
No of course not, if that is the scenario I would suggest you purchase a new battery (tomb45 sells amazing ones)
Y'all funny I was weak when you pulled out the Andis jet pack
Best wahl for bald shaves? I'm torn between wahl 5 star senior corded or wahl magic corded....
They both good imo, but for me the magic clip is easier to fade with n flick out lines, also you gotta go cordless dawg!
whats the barber supply website you was talkin about? and is it legit?
www.empirebarber.ca & definitely legit! Check them out!
your serior is zero gap sir?
Yessirski
What about seniors with the stagger blade. I think it comes down to the blade. Second opinion please
I also have to agree the blade has a LOT to do with it, @derickwestcoast was telling me the seniores with the magic clip blade is OP
Yo sidhu..im goanna buy my first clippers which should i buy as a beginner the magic or the seniors?im vert confused cuz most ppl sat thr magic are better for beginners bc of tye lightweight which should i buy as a beginner???

The rebel gonna change the game
I can’t wait to try it out
I cut my own hair and having the magic clippers I can really cut my hair without getting too heavy on my hand.
Lightweight and do the job! :)

Yeah no doubt! I did a Wahl Magic Clip solo review and went over it again! I was totally wrong in this video 😂
