Reminds me of Clarksons Lamborghini when he couldn't get it to do anything because some obscure button was pushed in. Tractors have sure changed in the last 50 years!
Morning Ian, you mentioned your Dad's 'dinosaur' tractor but I bet you that will still be running (or be able to be made to run) long after the makers of these modern machines have said 'Ah well, there's no tech support for the systems on these anymore. But, we can sell you a new one for X hundred thousand pounds'. 🤣🤣Sorry, don't mean to put a damper on what is a really nice shiny new toy. Enjoy it whilst you got it mate 😉😊Norm.
Goodness... I am very tech savvy but within 5 minutes my eyes glazed over. Look forward to your thoughts once you have had out on the road.... That new Topper looks a great bit of kit.
What ever happened to the two levers on your right hand side, position control and draft / constant pumping levers with a good old fashioned no nonsense bullet proof crash gearbox!!!!! Simples!!!!!!!! best of luck with the class Ian.😁
You seemed more comfortable with the MF. Some of the buttons and their diagrams were mighty small, considering you visited the opticians recently. Cowfarmer Dan has a video taken in France with a loader tractor. Nice !!! Looking forward to part 2.
The verge mower is a very good bit of kit. I have been using the teagle version for about 10 years to flail brambles etc. Easy to travel on the roads too in the vertical position
Nice new toy to play with . All you want to is go forward, back turn left, turn right , lift the loader up and down and other jobs. Did you take all that in Mr P harr-harr
I can remember when Claas tractors were orange and called Renault, tractor i took my test in had 3 forward gears with high and low range, they've come a long way from them but not as simple to maintain
Good evening Mr. P. What an impressive piece of kit it would be no good asking me any questions as my brain is scrambled just listening to all that. The new topper looks good am looking forward to part two to see how you get on with it all. Keep well and stay safe.
Great video Mr P, good luck driving that tractor, I got bored half way through the instructions, how do you make it go forward and backwards, and how do you make the loader go up and down, would have been enough for me 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵
Did you really understand all that lost me after the third orange button zoned out. Use to miss my tractor driving but after seeing this glad I opted to retire early in 2006
Nice to see a dealer install a demo tractor properly our local class dealer could learn a thing or two from James there idea of a install is bring it to farm and saying crack on I’ll be back in a few days to pick it up!
Another ther great video has always farmer p ian and Mrs p Sam emma Abbi and holli and miss biskit miss crumble miss gypsy miss pepper and miss pickle 👍
Um I think I'll stick with old tractors if I get a chance to drive one again.🙃Did you go and have a lay down in a darkened room after that. They do like to add every thing but the kitchen sink to things nowadays.
So long as its built strong is just the job for the reasons you said. You'll always run a bit down with the first round and if you cut through the middle of the field but you can get a fair bit of that by running Back down it the opposite direction and probably getting a fair amount of what you run down. Other than a front mounted topper it's the best type of topper design.
One big problem ' the darn thing can't make a brew lol . Modern tractors hope they come with an instruction manual bet it's as thick as a certain yellow phone book. Nice tractor though.
Amazing the the advances in electronics that make work easier and more safe. I would guess that most of what you were shown as the result of the time farmers have mentioned or asked for the features. Nothing is by chance. Ian, you look like you're in a fog listening to the rep. I know I was lost long before. Very nice the windshield is large and goes up into the top.
Claas have made these really quick combines/tractors so contractors can get thru work quick , now in response to smaller farmers who don't need that speed there coming up with smaller scaled down versions but keeping the useful stuff .
The Class seems to be a decent tractor lan ....l still think l will stick to the Ferguson..... always had , my father n grandfather before me , shame it wasnt spring time for your test run !
More buttons than a Guardsmans coat! - I doubt whether most farmers use half of them. Sames with Cars, I have to keep the user manual on my phone to keep up with it all.
And I thought tractors were getting too complicated when I packed it in in 2002!!!!!! Cannot imagine these modern tractors ever being used in third world countries.
Claas Green red tractor good tractors. But no fendt.. so next video.. the demo?? Powerrrrrr....what do you like a bout the front window of the claas. You see so much up and to the front.. and it us smart to video the Explorations of the Buttons in the cab. Poor pullen girls if the farmer gets a new or second-hand tractor. Driving lessons for all.
Nice bit of kit mr p a bit of class for a bit of class James was good at his job but to much information for me give me a old tractor 🚜 te20 or 35 now where talking old school mr p did not have anything like that when I lived on a farm very nice by all means so much easier to day still hard work still
To me the controls didn't seem that bad, I rekon i could jump in and drive it, the loader joystick was out of view but the instructions sounded easy enough. Quite a few features you would never specify but the basics were fine and a few nice features like being able to check the air brakes and the radiator acess and greasing chart.
Claas are big and clumsy tractors not a fan we have a 430 arion many issues and sluggish motor on the road and around the yard, very easy to stall and look a fall. Where as our John Deere is almost impossible to stall and has plenty of grunt yet it’s a smaller less horsepowered tractor
Blimey, far too many options, buttons and such like for me. If l was in the market for a new tractor, l would steer clear of Claas tractors. However, their grassland machinery and combines are the ultimate in my opinion having been involved with farm work over the decades of my grumpy life!
@@kieranosullivan02 John Deere and Massey Ferguson are two manufacturers that make a basic spec tractor. No need for a lot of the technology or button specification on any tractor. Sometimes it pays to have feedback through the machine to the operator, buttons don't give that. There is an old saying; KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid. This applies to everyone and everything. Make life easy by making it fast and simple to learn. I bet the operator manual for the Class is 400+ pages deep. I drove a Claas tractor six years ago, it was complicated and horrible. Worse than a Fendt. Each to their own. Remember that high tech is expensive when it goes wrong too.
Dear Tractor companies why don’t most of you find an old lorry Frame or even rebuild a brand New Lorry Frame for building stronger and better Tractors and put those Scania N113, Volvo B10M, Volvo D10A, Volvo TD102KF, Gardner 6LXC and Gardner 8LXB Diesel engines for those stronger better Tractors so they can still use them for any farms and even lift a broken down Bigger Buses and even broken down Lorries, why don’t you build 6 and 7 seats so that other passengers can sit at the back and front including the driver. You can still build those four stronger medium sizes wheels and still make them even more farm tractor-like than it still was before, please can you do those exciting idea’s for us tractor Lovers.
Need to own a bank to pay for that machine look for a older second hand one with low hours and good maintenance done on it less money and the bugs are been fixed by someone else new ones are lot problems in the future .been there done that got out of modern tractors always breaking down all right while a warranty on them then you run out checks in your checkbook .
Obviously a degree in Mechanical Engineering would be an asset to operate this equipment good luck Ian
Nothing better then coming home from a freezing day on a roof to a huge dinner cold bottle of beer and a early video from mr p
Ian. You must be an exceptional man. I've got three degrees and I got lost some time in the first ten seconds. 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
That's a nice bit of kit Ian all that what the guy was saying went right over my head lol
I was lost after the first instruction James 😆
Reminds me of Clarksons Lamborghini when he couldn't get it to do anything because some obscure button was pushed in.
Tractors have sure changed in the last 50 years!
that loader sounds like a nightmare to get used too
what a complicated bit of kit, that will take some getting used to so best of luck. also what a good sales man he knows his stuff.

💕Fancy a fridge to keep drinks cool remove the ashtray & you’ve got the perfect place for a travel mug of tea & lots of storage spaces for snacks💕
Complexity seems pretty standard on tractors these days. Great Video
Blimey, well that was a very in-depth tutorial. I now feel as though I could operate that claas 😂.
Goodness... I am very tech savvy but within 5 minutes my eyes glazed over. Look forward to your thoughts once you have had out on the road.... That new Topper looks a great bit of kit.
Makes rocket science look easy!
Ahhhh ur going to bloody love that ian 😉
Noice Tractor that ...Classy even , and more bells and whistles aye but still dont see a coffee maker dang it.
What ever happened to the two levers on your right hand side, position control and draft / constant pumping levers with a good old fashioned no nonsense bullet proof crash gearbox!!!!! Simples!!!!!!!! best of luck with the class Ian.😁
A very good Wednesday evening to you all
Nice tractor Ian but too much electrics for me I rather have your father's old case. We got a case 4210 nice and simple
I wouldn't be surprised if it came with an ejector seat
😂😂😂😂😂
I think I'd be afraid of that if I hit the wrong button 😱😱😱😱😱
Nice panoramic window ...thats a bonus when using the loader ... and your neck / back
The case u had a while ago the 125 was also 155 when it boosts
😵🤯The manual must be at least 1000 pages

Keep a close eye on the headstock for cracking

James knows his product and how to pitch it. It will be interesting to see how the Claas goes.
Thanks Mr p.thanks for the video.there is certainly alot to remember. Will look forward to seeing it in action. Cheers.
CLASS ARION 470 nice toy play with mr p have fun
Great video Ian it’s a lovely tractor I drove a 820 for awhile very comfortable and serious traction in it
Sweet. Lots of nice little features that seem well thought out. The visibility is great. 👍👍
Great video Mr P, good luck driving that tractor, I got bored half way through the instructions, how do you make it go forward and backwards, and how do you make the loader go up and down, would have been enough for me 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵
Great video mr. P. Nice bit of kit 🚜👍👍
a lot of buttons looks very complicated ❤😊
Enjoy the tractor where biscuit going to sit
Good question….. To be reviled soon. 😄🐶👍🏼
lots of information I got headache and I was watching it😂
Did you really understand all that lost me after the third orange button zoned out.

All I was thinking where's Biscuit's shelf/bed to go or does it have too many buttons.
Ash tray for sweet wrappers seems logical.

Lol how much about the tractor went in and stayed in.. But sounds like one that made to work.. Good luck. Lol
17:56 great content again
Nice bit of kit! 👍🏻
Just wandering are you going to space on the next rocket and just getting a course to see how good you remember thinks lol
The Class seems to be a decent tractor lan ....l still think l will stick to the Ferguson..... always had , my father n grandfather before me , shame it wasnt spring time for your test run !

Lots of it is simply setting up your preferences for a given task so you can then operate a job with just one or two buttons. 🙂
And I thought tractors were getting too complicated when I packed it in in 2002!!!!!! Cannot imagine these modern tractors ever being used in third world countries.
Thinnk I would forget about the chain harrowing. 😂😂😂😂
I did, no good on frozen ground 👍🏼
you should of ask dose a little dog bed comes with it
👀🙄🐾🎄👍Squire Pullen will you be getting a telehandler or skidsteer on Demo?
You don’t follow my Instagram do you Jim 😄
@@FarmerP No not really I only have a limited amount of time
Great video, very nice!
Ooooooooo a nice new toy to play with 😛😛😛
Remember do not press the big red button 🛑😂, looking forward to you doing the test drive 🙏🏻
Soon have to be Airline pilot to drive a tractor. To many nobs and switches for my liking.

You did say that new case was too old fashioned and basic. Wonder is that a regret now 😂
Keep up the good vlogs
He made it sound more complicated than it actually is. You'll be fine 🙂
It wasn’t too bad, I got most of it, the problem was remembering it 😄
I LOVE ENGINES 😍🥰❤❤❤
Nice bit of kit mr p a bit of class for a bit of class James was good at his job but to much information for me give me a old tractor 🚜 te20 or 35 now where talking old school mr p did not have anything like that when I lived on a farm very nice by all means so much easier to day still hard work still
Agree with you kenneth old tractors are better than the new to much electronics in the new ones and cost lot money to fix when you need repairs done
23:42 Is that a look of panic on your face?
To me the controls didn't seem that bad, I rekon i could jump in and drive it, the loader joystick was out of view but the instructions sounded easy enough.

🚜🚜🚜🖼🖼🖼 0:08 👍
I don’t think so Ian. 🚜. Do u. M8. Keep the case. M8. ❤️👍

#IansConcreteFund
Good video Ian 👍 no disrespect but during the video you had quite a bemused look on your face 🙄😂 look forward to seeing it being used in action 💪👍
I'am bloody confused about the control's 😂looks ok tractor but probably a little big for you?
Just a tad 😄
Is that a tractor or a spaceshuttle... ?
Trackters art what they used to be

give me a massey 590 any day . i would have no idea how to use this
New Holland is simple to operate lol
What the heck was that all about my head is buzzing what was wrong with the old leavers and bog standard tractor
It’s to make life easier for the operator Michael…. Once you understand it all, it really does…. Apparently 😄👍🏼
Don’t really understand the claas tractor with the use of the cluch and the scv always being locked for no reason
Yeah this one was the boring one .. 😱 Yikes !
Quite possibly, but this is what everyone has to go through….. many times, if you want to upgrade to a modern tractor. 🙂

That looks very complicated
