I fully agree with Jindal Sir , we are exporting minerals and importing the value added products in India made from the same exported natural minerals at lower cost and importing finish good at extensively higher rates and that too seeking by adding heavy duties and taxes . If we really want to build the cost effective and competitive products in India reformation in taxes and policies are required . We shouldn’t export our natural minerals rather we use it within India and we support the industries to produce world class quality products and make Indian mindset to use make in India products . Examples we are exporting high quality flowers to France and importing perfumes at extremely expensive prices , we can’t we produce high quality perfumes in India. Same case with Levi’s jeans . We are exporting cotton to Levies, they make jeans outside India and the same we are importing at extensive cost , what can’t we make the Levi’s quality jeans in India . Like this there are n number of products .
Better to buy the technology , import their R&D , use our natural resources and minimal and make high quality make in India product and export it at higher margins to other countries . Before 2014 it was big politics to keep the India uneducated rule by other countries and use India as a big users market not manufacturing market . Now things are changed and changing and will change . Thanks to current Govt .
