I own the KRK VXT8 and its amazing. These speakers are accurate. They do not make the Highs Pretty and the Low End is really smooth. You can trust these monitors. Very Very Very Good. Cant say enough good things about them.
@bongborin, I've got the Rokit Powered 6 G2 units (those red ones you see at GC). The specs say that the cone is a "Glass Aramid Composite" (whatever that is). They unfortunately do not list what the voice coil is made from. These list for $400 each. I got them on sale for $150 each though. You'll still need some smaller speakers to test on as well since the bass response is almost a little too good on the KRKs, but they're great in the 6 to 8" woofer range of monitors.
OWN KRK VXT 8 AND 4... I MIX IN MONO ON THE SMALL 4 AND WHEN AM DONE... FLIP THEM IN STEREO AND TURN SEND THE MIX TO THE 8... LISTEN IN MONO.. THEN IN STEREO... NOTHING TOUCHES KRKs
well... the ns-10's have a flat mid sound... no bass, and no high frequencies...:-s (if you're mix on some of those, you'll get, the "discosmile fx" on your project) Witch means, that you boost up the bass and high freq.s, and it looks like a smile on the graph. eq! :-s Genelec has the best translating. the 1031a is a bit expensive... But you can trust on them! It depends how much money you have for a monitor! The KRK-s are very good too! :) if you don't belive, just listen to a few of them!
@REALREEM1 ns 10 is old sound... you can mix 80´s music with it... today the hs80 m might fit better... they are the follow ups... but i think krk couldn´t beat emes or vostex in quality... but its all a question of the own taste...

Do you make this model with a red speaker instead of yellow ???
@pride33
You can mix anything with the NS-10's but if I were too i like to reference them off another bigger monitor like the genelec 1031
This will sound very stupid, but who made the KRK speaker? Anyone? I want to have it, but price is still too high for me even the 4 series.....
Oh... they look like Focal speaker that is why my question was posted. What material are the voice coil? Is it aluminum?
just got my set of KRK Rokit 8 G2's! best deal for the money.
Which monitors are better, R6 or the rokit 6? They have the same frequency response and look similar. The rokit 6 is more expensive.
Is this model still being manufacturing? Or this model Is discontinued?
The same questions about the VXT Series.
yes I, biggup fi de most high ca of Bob Marley !
The KRK rp6 changed my life!
I Love those speakers
over 2 years I use genelec 8040 and they much better in any way
Oh. How much is their 6" two way cost with pre-amp?
watching this video through some krks right now! LOL
$250 each.. guitar center christmas sale. front firing bass ports help for my a-symmetrical setup so the bass dosent explode in the corner
