Thank you for review. I was looking for a neutral IEM for rehearsals and gigs, I think I'm now I found it :) hopefully my Sennheiser IEM bodypack will be able to drive this IM
I like the look of these. They give me a minimalistic pastel kinda vibe. That sort of pastel aesthetic or something... Very modern here in north America, and also a bit nostalgic. If ArepegEar moves their designs more in this direction, it'll be a really nice contrast to the iem designs nowadays. It would have been EVEN BETTER if they changed the back of it to white so it could complement the faceplate. Literally 10x nicer looking. WHAT A MISSED OPPORTUNITY!! 😱 I also like the font they used. It's an inviting style of font that's also reminiscent of the early-mid 2000's (Y2K aesthetics In Canada and the U.S). It's MUCH nicer than the font/logo on some iems like KEFINE, or THIEAUDIO 🤣 It could veer a slight bit too cutesy for a guy unless you don't care about that, like me, but I can see myself buying them for myself and as gifts if they look nice and sound good too. That teal colour and text is very reminiscent of Y2K, and the techno era. That Retro-futuristic vibe back then. Seems like they might veer into the Kinera direction where style is also a selling point, and I'm ALLL for it 👌...as long as they sound good too 😆 Oh, and a question, how much of an upgrade are these compared to the EW300 if you don't mind me asking? xD
Lovely review, was looking forward to this as I’ve been eyeing this iem when it’s launched. Thanks to the review I’m definitely getting this. Btw, Hane (pronounced as har-nay) means feather in Japanese. Hence, the feather themed faceplate.
@@PrimeAudioReviews understandable as it can be quite confusing for non Chinese/Japanese speaking folks especially when the character 羽 (pronounced as yü) is clearly Chinese but Japanese use a lot of Chinese characters and this character on the packaging is written in Japanese font.
I was going to grab the TruthEar Hexa, but will be grabbing the ApegEar Hane instead, along with the TruthEar Nova. I can easily EQ the Hane with under 2db boosts to get dead on JM1, while getting a better looking iem. So then I will have a JM1 and Harman iem to go back and forth on while i slowly add different flavors along the way.
Every time I see a fabric cable, I'm thinking microphonic. I've had enough of those to just steer clear. I'm sure there's some that aren't, but IEMs are still coming out with microphonic cables. It's practically 2025, microphonic cables and driver flex should no longer be a thing.
@PrimeAudioReviews That's good to hear. However, the CVJ Night Elf revision Looks great with it's Damascus style shell and black/purple cable. But that cable is microphonic. It's such a shame.

I'm waiting to see how bloody the battle gets between the Hane and the Kima 2.
:O

Hane has a much better soundstage, better imaging, more detail, and a more refined tuning.
David great review thank you

Ugh, that's what I was calling it to myself at first but I decided to go the other way. Wish I had looked into it first. Thanks for the clarification!

Hane is a great iem.
FYI the model name is pronounced hah-nay. It means feather in Japanese.

These new ones are perfectly fine. They're nothing like the old stiff ones.
