Swansea ‘explosion’: One missing and 3 rushed to hospital after massive 'gas' explosion

- One person is missing and three more have been rushed to hospital after a massive explosion destroyed homes this morning.
Around 20 properties have been damaged after a suspected gas blast in Swansea, Wales.
More than 100 people were evacuated as emergency services rushed to the scene around 11.20am.
Cops have since said one person is unaccounted for and three have been taken to hospital.
South Wales Police said: "Emergency services are continuing to work at the scene of an explosion on Clydach Road in Morriston that occurred around 11.20am this morning.
"Three people have been taken to hospital by ambulance. One person is currently unaccounted for, and work is ongoing to locate them.

Yea, it happens quite frequently. Apparently most of the time it's due to leaks in the pipes since a lot of buildings are getting old and haven't been reworked, or because a boiler hasn't been serviced etc.

I knew one of the neighbours of the people who had the big explosion or their house blown up you know what I mean but they told me that when the people house blew up it felt like an earthquake from a few houses down

It’s the UK. The houses here are decrepit nasty old things. This explosion was probably because some old decrepit gas line cracked. Now the decrepit police will plod along and do their incompetent investigation and then some incompetent useless gift less lazy government workers will take a look to inspect it. It probably won’t even get cleaned up for weeks. They will likely only find the body when someone else finds it stuck in a chimney or under the back garden shed or something.

I worked for the council in swansea only a few weeks tarmarking the roads up in Penlan at the hight of joyriding there wasent a day I dident have to jump in a garden from joyriders mounting the pavent to get around our vehicles while being chased by the police one woman was lucky pushing a pram the driver took the front bumper of a parked car off just avoiding her.

Did you miss all the fire service guys in BA in the clip? Do you think they just dive into a partially collapsed building without any thought or planning, would you prefer five dead people instead of just the one?
@@mr_benn_escapes_lockdown1780 5 firefighters would not die from that 🤣 In other countries the fire fighters would have already gone through the entire thing and found all the victims. I remember one day my neighbors house was on fire, it took them 15 minutes after arriving devising a plan to tackle the fire, by that time another house was on fire. Too many rules and regulation have made them less effective.
