- Final session of final between Hendry and 17 year old Ronnie O'Sullivan, presented by David Vine. I noticed that someone put up footage of this a week ago but doesn't show the first 2 frames. Before anyone asks I do have footage of the first session but it is very jumpy at the bottom of the screen and not worth putting up as some people expect HD quality. Please remember these videos come from VHS then transferred. This 2nd session however is pretty good quality.

Who else came here after seeing Ronnie win his 8th uk championship in 2023.
Incredible to think 30 years later he'd win it again. Doug Mountjoy was quite a story winning it 10 years after he first won it in 1978 but 30 years. This is unlikely to ever happen again.
Terrific achievement. Great to see John Spencer presenting a trophy at the end. Not long before, he had presented Ronnie with the Junior Pot Black Trophy.

I doubt this record will ever be broken, same with hendrys winning the world title at 21. The strength in depth means its tough for younger players to win majors.
I was born in 1993, my mum's favourite player is Stephen Hendry :-)

Ronnie looked better in 93 then he did all 90s. He was more patient and calm. Prob because he still had father there to keep his ego in check.

Just because when I saw Stephen hendry play he is so much different, he wouldn’t want to win it with high score but he like to strach it up. This is the problem with old type player and new type player. It will become boring.!!!
