A new concept in CELL ACTIVATORS! Next Level Bloom Halo with PEARL PAINTS!!

Welcome! Thank you for being here, I appreciate your time and hope you learn something from my videos. I am taking my pearl bloom paints and the bloom halo, inspired by @LisaMarvinArt , to the next level. I'm using my special formula pearl bloom paints, a dark blue Sherwin Williams Color to Go pillow, pearl paint cell activator and semitransparent bloom paints to create a very special bloom halo on a 16" round mdf panel. I've conducted numerous tests with my pearl paints, trying to get a nice bloom effect over them instead of always having to skip that and do wrecked puddle pours. What I discovered is that, since pearl paints are fully transparent, no cell activator will work correctly. Even swipes tend to be muted with fewer cells that you'd normally expect. By layering a semi transparent or fully opaque bloom paint over them, the cell activator has something to work with. Blowing through that top later gives you bloom cells over pearls. It was a serious aha moment for me when I figured this out! Now that I know, I can keep taking it to the next level. I love working with amsterdam pearls and they don't always have to be juiced up with pigments. Having a more subtle effect is warranted in some fluid art techniqes. I just enjoy working with them and want to discover all I can about using them. I'm glad you're here for it and hope you learn something right along with me!
My bloom paints are mixed the same as always, please refer to the description in previous videos for that recipe. I'd love to share my SW Color to Go shade but I apparently tossed the paint chip and the container! It's something with Haven in the title. My cell activator is Amsterdam pearl red and Aussie floetrol mixed 1 part paint to 3 parts floetrol.
