On these tires, absolutely! Michelin Pilots are not known for their winter traction :) This is my 3rd 944.. with a dedicated set of winter tires like Blizzaks, I was able to get around fine..actually better than most RWD cars I've owned. Quality tires make all the difference in the world~
@turbokevin yes its all about the tires. my 924 with 185/60 all season tires is absolutely fine in the snow. much more stable than most fwd cars. it would still get stuck easily because it is low but if you just have to get to work its fine
It's an option.. The 86 na doesn't automatically come with one. Check the option codes in the owners manual, that will tell you. If you don't have the original owners manual, look under the carpet in the rear by the spare tire well.. You are looking for option code 220 for limited slip differential.
Ok so what was it? The exhaust from the cold? Highly unlikely. Did you fuckin watch the video? Just because black smoke doesn't come out of the exhaust doesn't mean it's not a diesel. I've been around diesels a lot and that sure sounded spot on like one...
This is soooo Cool!!!! My favurite conditions for safe drifting! Wish it snowed more often here
yeah i drove this past winter in my '86 944 with summer tires. it wasn't too bad honestly once you got used to it

what is better- yokohama or dunlop?
is this up in northern utah?
no..New Hampshire~
my 944 was so bad in the snow, would have been fun with some serious snow tires though!
Hmmmm, nice 944 man, though i prefer Fuchs Rims rather than Alloyed ones, or in this case those ''stars''...
That car definatly was diesel. What'd ya put into it?

And even if im wrong? That doesn't mean you have to be a complete dick about it.
It's your profile picture on SOCIAL MEDIA site. How in the fuck would that be stalking.
And you know this car isn't a diesel how? Im still not moved off of my first impressions...
You keep saying I know nothing about these cars lol making assumptions now...
