All that power just to spin the tyres, a set of front and rear diff locks would of been a better investment. But i have to say listening to that engine spool up did put a smile on my face.
As far as I know it’s a welded rear differential and open front differential it’s an interesting set up,may have to do a walk around video of it and get the full run down! But hell yeah it sounds sweet spooling up!!???
Alot of people saying about twin lockers and I bet 75% of them haven't got them either and everyone's so quick to knock someone these days, I think think he's a alright with this truck considering the story behind it and the amount of work and time he has put into it and like everything it's a developing project truck like we all have
It's easy to knock people you don't know and don't know what is going or build process!!! It's a rolling progress with what gets done first and do you need twin lockers to be on the road!!! The answer is no and there isn't many trucks that are twin locked, he's a friend of mine and I think he's doing alright working on a budget
greetings from Pontassieve province of Florence Italy I have a 2001 all original Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 4x4 off road vehicle with 1.3 LT m13a petrol engine which I use for off road driving on dirt farm and forestry roads used by the Italian forestry companies for felling forest wood with their skidders and forwarders and the forestry trucks with the crane and then I use it for farm work like transporting the boxes of olives from the field to the farm warehouse where I pick the olives and then transport the produce from the garden to my house! (and my Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 4x4 pickup truck is a good off road vehicle and due to its small size we go where the bigger 4x4 off road vehicles can't go!
@@ALL_4_WHEELS is that I had written again about my Suzuki Jimny 4x4 because I like to remember it it was not a copy and paste I know well that the words are similar but those words come to me if I try to describe my 4x4 off-road vehicle more or less because I live in the countryside and besides I try to describe it with those words!
The thing with the om606, its response and VEis terrible unless its making at least 10 psi and that doesnt come on until 2700 rpm ++ depending on your turbo if its set up for big power.
Yeah can definitely see with the vehicle as it’s a twin turbo on low revs it really struggles to get going you can see he has to get those revs high as possible and then all hell breaks loose!!
@@ALL_4_WHEELS it’s a dodge ram 2500 with a Cummins 5.9 turbo diesel. It’s fun and quite capable off road (as long as it’s not in mud, sand, or anything that it can sink into) momentum is the key.
We're is your 4x4 Adam your drivers are a bit like lincs off road club good at playing in mud but they were scared of rocks and mountains were you can if you get it wrong be in very serious trouble some of lor liked rocks but not many ( and no my truck ain't attempting that muddy hillside well not going up anyway .😂
Im part of lincs offroad club. We do plenty of big hills. We dont do dodgy stuff because some of us dont have roll cages… wait did you go on the green laning day? Thats for tame vehicles. The trialing is rough

@@ALL_4_WHEELS How does he manage to drive it on the road with a welded rear diff? Surely lockable diffs would make sense with this much grunt!
@phillips321 I think
It’s a bit of a handful!!!
Agreed!
😉👌👌

Its a two wheel drive. Lockers are worth way more than 400hp

That’s amazing! My dodge diesel has just over 400hp but also weighs 9000lbs+ 😂

All that power and no locked diff's wtf🤣
CDL not engaged?
Think my defender with lockers would crawl up that with no fuss ….seems a lot of power going up in smoke
Do you have nissen patrol axles and gearbox?
Yes it’s full Nissan patrol axels and running gear..👌👌 it’s a beast isn’t it??
@@ALL_4_WHEELS i love it. I'm about to build a RRC om605 and i was planning to do a full patrol running gear.
You should do it! Where are you from would love to see the finished vehicle when it’s ready!!!

@marceldekker4386 you need to come to the uk wales to drive some good trails!! 👌👌
what a beast wush my defender sounded like that haha
It sounds so much better when you’re next to it!!! 😎👌👌👌
Ash needs to fit a similar motor into his Jimney…
Could you imagine that much power in his Jimny haha he’d take off!! Would be good to see someone put that engine in a Jimny with power and torque!! 👍
@@ALL_4_WHEELSI reckon big torque and a small wheelbase would make it unstoppable…
Where did rear winch mount come from on Defender?
Not sure to be honest I’ll ask him next time k see him and let you know! It’s a hell of a Landy isn’t it!!???
@@ALL_4_WHEELS sure is
