Staying at Sugar Beach in St. Croix, USVI (Tour of the condo we rented)

- www.jordanouts... We stayed at the Sugar Beach Condos in St. Croix. This awesome condo complex is right on the beach and a beautiful reef which gives you the amazing turquoise blues of the caribbean. We rented this condo through vrbo. This video gives you a tour of the beach, our condo, and the amenities. We love having a place with a kitchen so we can cook and save on money dining out. Sugar Beach is right by Christiansted and is an easy location to go out and explore all of St. Croix. We would definitely stay in these condos again.
Nice, informative video. One question: Why are there bars on the windows and balcony?
Great question. The community felt safe, but there are some communities nearby that are really poor. We drove through one on our way home one day. I'm guessing they have the bars to prevent theft. That's just a guess on my part, but I don't know for sure.
@@JordanOutside Thanks for the quick reply. From videos and photos, I've noticed a lot of properties on St. Croix have bars on windows. Gives me a slight pause about public safety. Did you feel safe when you went off property?
@@scottfallon1 Yes, we felt safe. When we went grocery shopping the people were so friendly. We never felt in danger. That was our experience. I would definitely go back.

We are staying in the same place near the end of July. This is our first trip to St. Croix. We have a half day sail scheduled for Buck Island / Turtle Beach and dinner reservations at Zion Modern Kitchen. I'd love to hear any must see/do/go places if you have any recommendations. Great video and thanks for sharing!
Hey Drew, I'm so excited for you! St. Croix is amazing and you're going to love it. We loved snorkeling at Cane Bay Beach and at the Frederiksted Pier. Isaac's Bay Beach is amazing too! Have a great time.

Hi Albert, each unit is individually owned. The rental rates change throughout the year. We only rented ours for 1 week. We rented through VRBO.com. You would need to reach out to each unit owner to find out a monthly rental rate. Hope that helps!
