Can't stress this enough guys, this channel is great. High production value, modern playing (sorry blues lick boys) and funny. Keep doing what you're doing, hope your numbers explode soon.
I currently have the four UAFX amps on my board because as the singer in my band, I have a hard time crafting different drive tones in a live setting. With the UAFX pedals, I have eight (8) flavors of drive. I view the Dream as my clean tone, the Ruby as my overdrive, the Lion as my distortion and the Woodrow as my fuzz. The guys in my band think I’m nuts, but your video was validating. Love y’all’s channel!
Guys - I have a UAFX Lion and zero overdrive pedals. The Lion has two channels and sounds great. So I have a color boost (Archer Clean) and treble booster (Mythos Cestus) on my board instead of a normal overdrive. I love the tones I’m getting!
I have the Ruby set to the brilliant channel and the silver cab.. This combo creates a lot of “hiss” did you notice anything about ground level noise between the three??
It's supposed to be the best time alive for choices for guitar players...I'm finding the opposite, because there's a new product every week and they're all fantastic. Is too much choice making it too hard to be happy? Lovely video gents. Much appreciated by the masses.
Thanks man! I do think it's the best time to be a guitar player but also the option paralysis is the strongest it's ever been. I fight it every day! haha so far I've lost the that battle so I own so much gear lol
In your demos I like the Lion best then Ruby then Dream. But I would like to remind you that you have listened to tens of thousands of amp demos and never before have you gone, "damn, that Marshall sounds way better than that Fender". I think UA might be the issue with Fender, I think they also have a tweed version of the same thing I'd like to hear stacked up against these ones.
That totally depends on what you're playing- I can think of many scenarios where I prefer a Marshal over Fender. And I can think of just as many where the Fender would be my choice. Brand loyalty is a stupid thing imo- I use whatever sounds best- and that's not always Fender, or Marshal for that matter.
This is why I don't really get overdrive demos- because unless you have the same amp, or something real similar- it's not going to sound like that when you use it. It's an overdrive, it's over driving the amp- which means the amp is at least 50% of the tone you're hearing. These guys will be like "Check out how good the Bad Monkey sounds..." and never mention that oh yeah, by the way- were playing it through a 3-thousand-dollar Magnatone or Fender amp that sounds great even with a dog turd plugged into it.
i agree. especially if it's in a studio/home gig/pub/bar/theatre/club/café... you do you. those fx are the same price as a small watt tube amp. and they sound SHITe!

Thank you so much! We do too! Lol Appreciate you, we're keeping it going for sure!
Gezz, every time I watch your videos, I’m like, I need a Marshall 😂 it’s so together and tight in the mid range
Everyone needs a Marshall 😂

I think you're nuts too, that's a good thing tho
You gotta do what you gotta do! lol
Thanks fellas! I am sure my wife will appreciate me buying more amps 😂
Hahaha thats our bad 😂
Once you changed to the blue speaker on the Ruby I feel like it improved greatly. Sounds like it would sit so well in a band mix

The Lion is just that good
Billy Gibbons plays live thru a Marshall valve state preamp and makes it sound decent

Hmm, I didn’t notice anything between cabs. Hiss makes me think it could be a power issue or you might need to hit the ground lift on the DI 🤷🏻♂️
Y’all should do a duel amp rig shootout. What’s the best combo of two of the UA pedals?
Great idea! We can do that for sure

Sounds great! Quick question, do you have a 500k pot or a 250k with your Lil 59?
Thanks! I honestly have no idea 😂 In both of our strats they are just the stock pots
@@gearnighthang Must be 250k then. Thanks! Gonna get one for myself
We need the same video with custom presets of youtubers or artists (worship tutorials, Tone Factor, Tone junkie)
I can do this through Tonex! I think I have captures of all of their amps
Do you need more OD pedals or EQ pedals?
YES!
100%
I tried to like the Brown Protein but didn't bond with it. The Nordvang now that's a hoss!
I had the Nordvang Triple Gain at one point and I loved it! They make great stuff!

HAHA I feel this! A great amp is essential!
No real tube amp? You are missing the point. Have fun with stomp boxes
Welcome to the future OLD MAN
